                                                          Buildings Cover (Section 1)

                                                          Unless otherwise agreed by us, the following limitations apply to Buildings:

                                                            tiles, metal, asbestos, asphalt or concrete
                                                                                                                                            other structural work that:
                                                          •	We	will	not	pay	the	cost	of	replacing	or	repairing	any	undamaged	parts	
                                                                                                                                            i) Changes the use of the buildings in any way
                                                            of the buildings which form part of a pair, set, suite or part of a common
                                                                                                                                            ii) Renders the property non-tenantable for any period of time
                                                            design or function when the loss or damage is restricted to a clearly
                                                                                                                                            iii) Increases the cost of rebuilding the buildings by more than
                                                            identifiable area or to a specific part
                                                                                                                                                 10% of the sum insured for that building

                                                          Contents Cover (Section 2)
                                                                                                                                          •	You	must	tell	us	if:
                                                          Unless otherwise agreed by us, the following limitations apply to contents:
                                                                                                                                            i) The property becomes non-tenantable at any time
                                                          •	Curios,	pictures	and	other	works	of	art	are	insured	up	to	a	maximum	of	
                                                                                                                                            ii) The use of the property is changed to anything other than

                                                          •	 Theft	or	attempted	theft	by	deception	unless	entry	is	gained	by	deception

                                                             by forcible and violent means
                                                                                                                                          •	You	must	comply	with	all	local	authority	regulations	or	statutory	
                                                          •	We	will	not	pay	the	cost	of	replacing	or	repairing	any	undamaged	parts	
                                                                                                                                            conditions regarding the letting of the premises
                                                             of the contents which form part of a pair, set, suite or part of a common
                                                             design or function when the loss or damage is restricted to a clearly
                                                                                                                                          •	You	must	ensure	the	sums	insured	are	adequate	throughout	the
                                                             identifiable area or to a specific part
                                                                                                                                            period of insurance

                                                          Contents Does NOT Include:
                                                                                                                                          •	Whenever	the	property	is	left	without	a	resident	for	more	than	30	
                                                          •	Landlords	Fixtures	&	Fittings	which	are	insured	under	Buildings	(Section	1)
                                                                                                                                            consecutive days you must:
                                                          •	Articles	of	gold,	silver,	gold	and	silver	plated	articles,	other	precious	
                                                                                                                                            i) Ensure that all security devices are kept in full and effective operation
                                                            metals, jewellery or furs
                                                                                                                                            ii) Have weekly internal and external inspections of the buildings
                                                          •	Cameras	(including	video	and	camcorders),	sports	equipment
                                                                                                                                                 carried out
                                                          •	Pedal	cycles,	clothing	and	personal	effects
                                                                                                                                            iii) Keep written reports of weekly inspections
                                                          •	Money,	bills	of	exchange	and	promissory	notes,	securities	or	documents	
                                                                                                                                            iv) Rectify any defects revealed during weekly inspections
                                                            of any kind
                                                                                                                                            v) Between 1st November and 31st	March	(both	days	inclusive)	ensure	
                                                          •	Any	one	curio,	picture	or	other	work	of	art	valued	in	excess	of	£1,000
                                                                                                                                                 that either:
                                                          •	Property	in	the	open
