The Holiest Week of our Church Year begins with
Passion Sunday. We open our worship next Sunday
with a children’s processional with palms waving,
reenacting Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
It is Palm Sunday. The mood and emphasis quickly
changes as we then switch to the Passion Reading.
We will hear again, in its entirety, the story of Jesus’
final days in the city. We will follow him to his
crucifixion and death.
Much will be offered during Holy
Week to assist in our understanding of
how much God loves us as he sends his
only Son into the world to die, so that
we might have life.
Mark your calendars today to
participate fully in these special and
important church activities and
worship opportunities.
