					          BHS CLASS OF 1976
                           Friday, May 26, 2006

We honor our four friends who have passed on before us…

Tom Applegate Mark Crews Ann Daniel Mark Ferrar

We walked the halls of BHS with Tom, Mark, and Ann
Whoever thought they’d be gone, they left us way too fast.
Life seemed like the seashore sand, our days too many to count,
The sand we thought went on and on; the hourglass runs out.

We’re grateful for the time we had with Tom, Mark, and Ann
We may wish we had done more; now we understand.
We realize we’re not promised life beyond right now,
Respect it, and face the fact we’ve much less sand to count.

Most memorable time in school: Musicals, proms, just being teens, friends

What’s going on in your life? Busy as usual. I’m still working for my church as the
Administrative Assistant. Our daughter, Julie, married Tim last May, and our son, John D.,
also moved out last year, so we are official ―Empty Nesters.‖  We’re busy with our
church. We work with Jr. High youth mission’s trips and events, so that’s lots of fun. I have
a side business making soaps & lotions, etc., called ―Hummingbird Handicrafts,‖ and greatly
enjoy that. I grow many herbs that go in the soaps, which keeps me out of trouble! In our
time off, we like seeing our kids, boating, camping, 4-wheeling, and gardening.
