Bi-Monthly Newsletter for Lebanon County Christian Ministries What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give him the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. To Christian Ministries in Lebanon, “Folks Like You” In this troubled world it’s refreshing to find, Someone who still has the time to be kind. Someone who still has the faith to believe That the more you give the more you receive. Someone who’s ready by thought, word, or deed To reach out a hand in the hour of need. We wish to thank you all for caring about individuals who cannot come to eat at the sight. You are very special to give from your hearts to others. God will surely reward you in heaven. God be with you all! God bless. Thanks. LCCM Staff Troy Williams Executive Director Henry Welker Warehouse Manager Wenda Dinatale Client Services Mgr. Assistant A Message from the Executive Director It’s not often we receive a note of thanks. Although it is not our goal, it is refreshing to our volunteers, staff and board of directors to hear and see the thankfulness of those we’ve helped in their time of need. What’s even more refreshing is when a client returns to give us an update on their story. Do you remember “John”? He came to us just before Christmas and we told you his story in the January 09 edition of Ministries’ Moments. We are happy to report that “John” and his young family are doing well. He was able to secure employment shortly after the new year and has since moved into a new apartment (much better accommodations than sleeping in his car). Things have certainly turned a corner for “John” and his family and we thank God for His blessings. Thank You for your support of LCCM! It’s through you, that God enables us, LCCM, to help, not just these two families, but the thousands of families we see each year. God Bless. TROY E. WILLIAMS LCCM Executive Director Page 2 LCCM Ministries’ Moments Donations, Donations, Donations! LCCM relies heavily upon the Food and Clothing donations received each month.
