Bi-Monthly Newsletter for Lebanon County Christian Ministries Volume XXVII, No. 3, May 2009
What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be
warmed and filled,” but you do not give him the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Executive Board
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have
works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
James 2:14 -18

A Message from the Executive Director
It’s not often we receive a note of thanks. Although it is not our goal, it is refreshing to our Wenda Dinatale
volunteers, staff and board of directors to hear and see the thankfulness of those we’ve helped in Client Services Mgr.
their time of need. What’s even more refreshing is when a client returns to give us an update on Maryann Moore
their story. Do you remember “John”? He came to us just before Christmas and we told you his Receptionist
story in the January 09 edition of Ministries’ Moments. We are happy to report that “John” and his
young family are doing well. He was able to secure employment shortly after the new year and has Client Services Asst.
since moved into a new apartment (much better accommodations than sleeping in his car). Things
have certainly turned a corner for “John” and his family and we thank God for His blessings. Jeff Falk
Client Services Asst.
Thank You for your support of LCCM! It’s through you, that God enables us, LCCM, to
help, not just these two families, but the thousands of families we see each year. God Bless. Angela Santiago-Rios

Hoss’s Community Night a Hit
Our deepest thanks to those who supported us by dining at Hoss’s on April 23rd. Your
efforts earned LCCM $432.35! The manager who gave us this total was quite impressed with the
number and said it was the second highest she has seen in a number of years. The community has
always been a priceless component in LCCM’s operation. This Community Night was further affir-
mation of that point. Thank you for your continued support, we hope you enjoyed your dinner!
