Loyola finished in the top 25 out of 228 teams at the Vis International Commer- cial Arbitration Moot in Vienna. Amber Curl and Michael Viglione received Hon- orable Mention Oralist Awards. At the Vis Moot (East) Competition in Hong Kong, Aruna Subramanian, Bethanie Legare, Honorine Richards, Shouger Mer- chant, Donald Cole, and Michael Yuan received an Honorable Mention for their Claimant's Memorandum. Criminal Law Moot Court Team Wins Best Brief and Finishes in Top 8 at National Competition! Nicholas McCann and Jeanine Oury competed in the 2009 Annual Herbert Weschler National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition at the University of Buffalo. The team won the Best Brief Award, and advanced to the quarterfinal round, finishing in the top eight teams in the nation. This is the second year in a row that Loyola’s brief has won first place at this competition. Mediation Team is a Regional Finalist! Laurel Thomsen, Jason Mosley, Karoline Szadkowska, Eunbin Rii, Melissa Bocker, Jennifer Woods, Anita Morris, Megan Roepke, amd Angie Robertson competed in the American Bar Association’s National Mediation Competition. The team excelled at competition, and finished as Regional Finalists.
