For Sale CAC NEWSLETTER -- PAGE 2 CAC NEWSLETTER -- OCTOBER 2005 ATTITUDE VISION TEAMWORK GOALS Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Efforts We are still collecting items to send to Highland County Community Action. We need cleaning supplies, formula, towels, pillows, pillow cases, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, soap, bathroom items, cash donations, book bags, school supplies, etc. If you would like to donate items or volunteer your time, please contact Pam Mustard at 740-289-2371 for more details. Please check out our web site: www.pikecac.org for updates on our efforts including Backpack Drive, Community Fundraiser (9-16-05) with photos, and current donations. Yard Sale Update Currently, we have had no luck finding a tractor trailer to rent in order to store items for our agency yard sale. This is probably due to the Hurricane Relief Efforts and many semi’s making the trip to haul needed items to the hurricane victims. If any one knows of a vacant building we could use to store items and possibly set up the yard sale there, please let me know. We can use the fairground building for the actual sale but only for the day of the sale. Our main goal right now is finding a storage facility to collect items. Contact Pam Mustard with any ideas/suggestions at 740-289-2371. Friday luncheon money raised to date: $1,193.00 plus this Friday 9-23-05! Hurricane Relief Stories We need your stories.
