Don’t Forget Fathers Day Is June 21st
NEWS FROM THE COMMANDER
I want to thank each and every one of you for your help and support this past year. We have accomplished a lot at the Post and have a lot to be proud of. This month has been busy. On the 9th was our Fundraiser Dinner, the 16th was the Golf Tourn., the 23rd was our Yard Sale. A couple of our youth assisted at the Memorial Day Service. May has been a great month. I want to thank Donald Nixon, Jim Roggina, Joy Walker, Frank Roberts, Ken Hammann, Master Chief and Lawrence. These members show up for all the functions at the post. Without them a lot of things would not get done. It’s YOUR post, please come out and help maintain it. I would really like to thank the Men’s Aux. for all their hard work. Fred Gainey has stepped up and taken charge of the Aux. He has headed and/or assisted in many fundraiser’s. He also found a landscape company to maintain our yard at no charge. Come out to our next meeting or come by for breakfast on Saturday morning and see what has been done to the old post. Thank you for your service, Joe Stanley - Commander, Post 2573
In Memory
The members of Post 2573 would like to extend our prayers and condolences to Men’s Auxiliary member Jay Spencer and his family for the lost of his father, Harry Spencer on May 24th, 2009.
