									Sourcefire Channel Program Receives Multiple
Honors from Everything Channel
Publication Awards Global Security Alliance with Five-Star Rating and Recognizes Chris Peterson as
Channel Chief for Second Consecutive Year

April 13, 2011 09:04 AM Eastern Daylight Time

COLUMBIA, Md.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Sourcefire, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIRE), the creator of Snort® and
a leader in intelligent cybersecurity solutions, today announced that the company’s Global Security Alliance Partner
Program received a five-star rating in Everything Channel’s annual Partner Program Guide. In addition, Chris
Peterson, Sourcefire’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channels, Services and Support, was named to CRN’s
2011 Channel Chiefs list, which recognizes leaders who are creating effective channel programs for solution
providers and have promoted and executed effective partner programs and strategies. This is the second consecutive
year that Sourcefire was selected for both of these awards.

“As a result of our partner-centric approach, Sourcefire saw a significant increase in 2010 channel sales,” said
Peterson. “Building on that channel momentum, Sourcefire is continuing to focus on delivering solutions and
programs that ensure both partner and customer success. Being recognized once again by CRN is a true testament to
the dedication of our worldwide channel team and the value that partners place on our solutions.”

Over the past twelve months, Sourcefire® has extended its global presence through strategic partnerships with
resellers and created programs to establish the company as the channel’s “Trusted Go-To Security Provider.” Over
the course of 2010, the company developed its Global Security Alliance Partner Program, a new multi-tiered
marketing and training initiative for resellers and distributors, and launched a consolidated partner portal.

“Sourcefire understands that technology alone does not make for a successful channel program and its commitment
to the channel, breadth of program offerings and services offered to their partners position it as a leader in the
channel,” said Kelley Damore, VP and Editorial Director of Everything Channel’s CRN. “By focusing on delivering a
comprehensive partner program, vendors and solution providers can work together to drive business opportunities
and revenue.”

In addition, the company launched the Sourcefire Technology Partner (STP) Program, which allows businesses to
ensure that their security products can be easily integrated with other solutions and support maximum return on
investment. With this program, Sourcefire’s partners and their customers can easily create a comprehensive security
ecosystem that eases the burden of threat management while combating today’s most complex threats.
