The ceremony will feature a balloon release and a banner display. Ms. Doris Weldon, guest survivor, will also be speaking. Monday, April 14, 2008 from 1 – 3 p.m. 788 Mount Vernon Avenue Columbus, Ohio What: When: Where: April 13 – 19 is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Throughout the week, OCJS is partnering with local and state organizations to raise awareness for five key areas of crime that impact Ohioans: homicide, child abuse, workplace violence, teen dating/intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Each day, ODPS will send a localized news release highlighting a topic and encouraging participation in an event being held to raise awareness for the subject. Through research, technology, grants, OCJS serves a wide variety of agencies committed to reducing and preventing crime across Ohio, including law enforcement, courts, corrections and domestic violence shelters.
