Budget Consignment Shop CONTRACT FOR CONSIGNMENT Consignor Name__________________________ Assigned consignment no.________________ THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN OUR STORE! Below are our rules and policies for selling on consignment. Please read carefully. PLEASE SORT YOUR ITEMS WELL! ALL REJECTED ITEMS WILL BE DONATED! 1. There is an initial $ 10.00 annual membership fee which begins thereafter Jan 1st of each year. This covers administrative computer costs. 2. We accept only CLEAN items in GOOD condition of newer styling in season. Feb-Apr=Spring, MayJune=Summer, July-Oct=Fall, Nov-Jan=Winter. Swimwear all year. 3. Please wash all clothing, shoes and toys before bringing to Budget Consignment. Please fold items in a bag and label them with your number. We do charge at least 50 cents per item to wash, destain, sew, iron etc. Equipment in need of cleaning will be assessed $ 2.00 to $ 10.00 depending on how much work is involved. Smokey or musty clothing will also be washed for a fee of $ 5.00 per load. Please help us by washing your items first with good detergent. All clothing must be buttoned-up, zipped-up or snapped-up. Please keep pets off of clean clothing. 4. Budget Consignment will set prices. We reserve the right to markdown or put items on sale at any time. After 15 days prices will automatically be reduced. All proceeds for $ 1.00 tags will be retained by Budget Consignment to cover tagging and selling costs. The Required consignment period is 60 days, after that period merchandise automatically becomes property of Budget Consignment, only exceptions is furs and gold jewelry. 5. Any rejected items and any unsold-tagged items become the property of Budget Consignment and may be donated to local charities. 6. Off-season items that are in good condition will be stored for you by Budget Consignment with your number on the items and brought out for on one of our off season sale days we hold every month. A $ 3.00 storage surcharge will apply. 7. Payments in cash or check will be available after the 1st of the month following the sale of the item. Credits are booked daily and can be used at any time for store purchases. 8. It is your responsibility to collect any moneys owed to you. After one year from drop-off date, any moneys uncollected become the property of Budget Consignment. No notice will be sent. 9. We will do our best to take care of your belongings, but we will not be held responsible for fire, theft or damage. 10. Due to our restricted space we cannot accept more that 20 items or less per family per week or visit. The item number is subject to change without notice to avoid over-crowding. 11. Thank you for your business. By bringing in good quality, newer, clean items, you will make more money. We pay 40% commission on items under $20.00 selling price and 60% commission on items selling over $ 20.00. I HAVE READ THE ABOVE AND AGREE TO THE RULES AND POLICIES.
