Established in 1989, Island Leisure Lodges has been Scotland’s premier manufacturer of quality buildings for many years. The factory is located in Almondbank, just a short drive from the historic city of Perth and well placed for factory visits to discuss designs, layout and to select personal specifications relating to your dream home. Island lodges are not mass produced, which allows you infinite choice in all aspects of your lodge. Our in-house architectural and interior design team are available throughout the design process to guide and advise you.

We use low energy glass in all our buildings as standard and we import superior quality doors and windows from Scandinavia. This, combined with the high thermal values achieved by our warm, substantial timber construction and high performance insulation to all walls, floors and roofs, provides for a most comfortable lodge, whatever the weather. Whether your requirement is for a holiday lodge or a permanent home, we have a design to suit. Island Leisure holiday lodges are manufactured to British Standards BS3632 and BSEN 1647 2004 ensuring you are buying the very best quality. Our innovative construction techniques are very flexible and adaptable and we are also able to provide lodges for housing and an extensive range of commercial applications from offices, shops and sports pavilions to visitor centres. What is the best way to get the lodge of my dreams as I have no land to site it on? This is not a problem, with access to many quality sites around the country, we are able to put you in touch with a park which can cater for you, your lodge and your lifestyle. Is an “Island Leisure Lodge” an imported kit type building? No. All Island Leisure Lodges are constructed in our Perth factory from quality raw materials. This allows us to build each lodge to suit individual requirements. Can I alter or extend my lodge at a later date? Yes, although this depends on the site permission, where your lodge is sited. We also offer a comprehensive after sales service for all raw materials, paints, fixtures and fittings.

We have combined all the finer points of the many buildings we have produced to create a range of lodges which, as standard, will withstand the worst extremes of our climate and provide a most comfortable home of enviable
Heating costs are low due to the method of construction and the high quality thermal insulation used, combined with the “Low E” glass fitted to all external doors and windows. The inventory of each lodge is comprehensive and includes: Fully fitted Kitchen in a choice of finishes complete with free standing cooker and fridge Modern Bathroom or Shower Lounges with gas fire in surround or electric stove on hearth Bedrooms with fully fitted wardrobes and dressing tables Low wattage electric heating to bedrooms, bathrooms and dining areas All windows and doors are double glazed with thermal “Low E” glass, draught-proofed and lockable Externally, the buildings are supplied with balconies, steps, underbuilding aprons and external lighting Cooking, water heating and lounge fire by gas or electricity All lodges carry a full 12 month guarantee from new on all items purchased with the lodge. The Build System
Manufactured under the cover of our workshops in Perth, commercial buildings are designed in multi-modular segments to arrive on site fully fitted out, serviced and decorated inside and out. This system reduces the on-site time, mess and inconvenience normally associated with traditional on-site builds. With design and build projects for clients, we are able to offer buildings direct to the customer on a controlled cost basis, with works on site reduced to site services and connection, foundation slab and landscaping. This system allows for ongoing, minimal site disruption through multi building development and can normally continue regardless of weather in all seasons.

Our commercial buildings all comply with local authority building standards and can range from simple office buildings to reception/shop areas, visitor centres, toilet blocks, amenity buildings and many more. With many years experience behind us, our design and specification team are quickly able to comprehend customer requirements and design buildings to suit their individual needs for final occupancy, or indeed local authority planning requirements.
