Events
Individual Events This year individual events are scheduled for the Saturday morning. • 8 Individual Skill events • Based on the Theme • Awards for First, Second and Third Place Calumet Show and Do For the 99th birthday of the Boy Scouts of America Calumet is attempting to look into the crystal ball. The afternoon program is going to give units the opportunity to predict where Scouting will be in the year 2035, 2060, or 2110. To participate, your unit will need to bring a display that will demonstrate a skill that scouting may teach 25, 50 or 100 years from today. Units are also being asked to make their displays interactive for other scouts that come by to visit. SHOW the skill and then allow others to DO the skill. The competition will be judged based on the following: Creativity Degree of completion Number of elements Interactivity Involvement of all of their unit Fun The Show and Do will take place around the lake, so be certain that all elements can be transported, set up and broken down easily. There will be awards for each category and overall winners. Iron Scout Triathlon Calumet is pleased to offer the Iron Scout Triathlon. This event is open to Calumet Scouts and Scouters over 14 years of age. Awards are given is several divisions. As all other Triathlon events this is a fitness based event.
