Training Reimbursement CACFP reimbursement is paid based on the number of meals served multiplied by the current rate of reimbursement. The rates (free, reduced, paid) are based on the household income of participants. You will be trained on how to make these determinations. Eligible day care facilities must provide structured, comprehensive services to nonresidential adults who are functionally impaired, or who are aged 60 and older. Eligibility Requirements Institutions must be licensed by a federal, state or local licensing authority. Institutions must: 1) be a public agency, 2) have tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service or 3) receive Title XIX or Title XX benefits from the Nebraska Health and Human Services System (NHHSS) for at least 25% of the eligible enrolled participants. (nursing home residents are not eligible for CACFP meals).
