THE LEAGUE
THE GOAL
Future plans for the Upper Deck League include maintaining 10 12 high quality teams with regular season schedules of 20-30 games, ensuring professional coaching and facilities, recruiting college players and providing player housing and employment opportunities, continued participation in the National Baseball Congress’s Regional and World Series, and promoting community relations and advertising.
THE COMMITTMENT
The Strike Zone and the City of Omaha are committed to bring the highest level of collegiate summer baseball to the Omaha Area. The goal remains for a team in the league to bring an NBC National Championship to Omaha.
YOUR INVOLVEMENT
You can help support this league through a number of different options we’ve set up. On the pledge sheet below, we have outlined each level, and what is included with it. Keep in mind, either a DIAMOND or a GRAND SLAM TITLE Sponsor becomes the official name of a team, and receives daily recognition in the Omaha World Herald. CHARTER

THE COST
The Upper Deck League provides college players the best opportunity to play summer baseball in a highly competitive league. Local college players are being sent by their coaches to other places to play for the summer, but now they can stay right here in Omaha and compete at the same high level. Thus, the caliber of the league will continue to grow every year, making the Upper Deck League one of the premier college summer leagues in the country.
The Upper Deck League provides a tremendous opportunity for college players, but also comes at cost. The Strike Zone is searching for corporate sponsors who want to be involved with the league, and partner with The Strike Zone to make it all possible.
