Ballroom Dancing Ballroom Dancing carries with it a timeless quality. Face it, women still love to be romanced, and men enjoy the chivalry. Ballroom dancing used to be a leisure activity enjoyed by the well-to-do. Today it is enjoyed by millions from all economic brackets and ages. West Coast Swing (4 Week) A style of Swing dancing emphasizing nimble feet popular in the California night clubs in the 30's and 40's and voted the California STATE Dance in 1989. Calligraphy is a beautiful writing art form. Create greeting cards, invitations, enhance your scrapbooking, and more. This class will teach you the Chancery Style alphabet and introduce you to other styles. Students should bring a calligraphy pen or marker and tracing paper. Cardio Kickboxing Great for everyone who wants to trim down and tone up!! Also ideal for self defense and overall health and fitness. This class covers basic techniques in punching, kicking, elbow and knee strikes with an emphasis on core training, strengthening the lower back and abdomen. Qi Gong Qi Gong is the science of cultivating internal energy. It teaches that through personal effort, you can balance and strengthen your Qi. Tai Chi Tai Chi 13 Kinetic Movements, is called the Secret Yang Style. It is different than Ordinary Yang Style in that one practices both sides of the body. Through its principles, your posture, structural alignment, breathing, balance and co-ordination are improved. ~This is the Essence of Tai Chi.~ This informal class focuses on relaxation, stress reduction and development of a Tai Chi Foundation.
