Face it, women still love to be romanced, and men enjoy the chivalry. Ballroom dancing used to be a leisure activity enjoyed by the well-to-do. Today it is enjoyed by millions from all economic brackets and ages. Ballroom dancing conveys rich elegance and grace that puts a special quality into peoples lives. Create greeting cards, invitations, enhance your scrapbooking, and more. This class will teach you the Chancery Style alphabet and introduce you to other styles. Students should bring a calligraphy pen or marker and tracing paper. Instructor will discuss other supplies as needed. Also ideal for self defense and overall health and fitness. This class covers basic techniques in punching, kicking, elbow and knee strikes with an emphasis on core training, strengthening the lower back and abdomen. This is a beginning course that will teach basic fundamentals on how to develop a golf swing and hit good golf shots. It teaches that through personal effort, you can balance and strengthen your Qi. Properly cultivated, this Life Force becomes stronger and counteracts undesirable effects of aging. Various exercises, techniques, and unique topics will be included. Exercises and topics will be redesigned with individual's age, ability, skill and interests in mind. All ages and styles welcome. It is different than Ordinary Yang Style in that one practices both sides of the body. Through its principles, your posture, structural alignment, breathing, balance and co-ordination are improved. ~This is the Essence of Tai Chi.~ This informal class focuses on relaxation, stress reduction and development of a Tai Chi Foundation.
