(work), mujerdedios@netscape.net, I have been ordained for over nine years and have
a passion for justice and holistic ministry. I seek to work with others in living and acting
out our faithful covenant with God, one another and all of creation and being creative
stewards of our time, talent and treasure.

I currently serve as Executive Director of A Just Harvest Community Kitchen, an anti-
hunger organization and organizer for Northside P.O.W.E.R.(People Organized to
Work, Educate and Restore). During most of this time, I also served as Associate
Pastor of Good News Community Church (8 1/2 years). I am very involved with the
wider church and currently serve as chair of the Local Church Ministries Board, a
Covenanted Ministry of the United Church of Christ. I am open and flexible and can
respond to emergency situations or several consecutive Sundays. I am not always
guaranteed to be available, but I am open to all requests and situations. My only
expectation is to be treated with fairness and respect and that the churches use this as
its guideline for giving.

My work as an organizer calls me to bring together communities across racial, cultural,
social and economic lines in order to build/restore God’s kin-dom, here and now. I
acknowledge the presence of God within all of God’s people (Namaste’). These things
inform my preaching and teaching. Aside from preaching, I am also open to leading
conversations/forums/classes on a variety of topics related to claiming this power and
putting our faith in action. I am also available to share how congregations can join the
work of Good News Community Kitchen, Northside P.O.W.E.R. and participate in
Leadership Training. I have found healing and wholeness in dancing and am open to do
liturgical dance when needed. I can preach in Spanish. I can preach from lectionary or if
needed based on a topic or theme or a combination of the two.

know what the minimum stipend is. I need some help in this area from CMA. I am willing
to serve churches of whatever theological “background” or whatever color.

to my former hometown in the summer of 2006, after having served for the previous ten
years in Northern, Michigan; I was the sole pastor at the First Congregational Church in
Manistee (1996-2001) and the Visitation Pastor at the First Congregational Church of
Traverse City (2001-2006). The death of my husband in 2005 and a subsequent
medical emergency led me to roles and enjoying many new familial responsibilities as I
seek a new pastoral call to a ministerial position in this area. My present schedule
involves frequent travel and many engagements with family members locally and out-of-
state. I expect to be reimbursed at the predetermined rate of payment for services at
the site where I might be asked to serve. I would hope to be asked one week prior to the
time I was needed so that I might participate in planning the event or worship service.

Protestants for the Common Good, 77 W. Washington St, Suite 1124, Chicago, IL

Director of Protestants for the Common Good and have served in this position since
May 1996. I was ordained in the United Church of Christ on January 21, 2007. The
mission of PCG is to educate and mobilize people of faith to participate in political
democracy for the sake of social justice and the common good. I am capable of bringing
forward the message that our faith calls us not only to private spiritually but to
engagement in the public arena in ways suitable to individual congregations. Most often
I will preach from the lectionary and seek to relate the texts to themes of serving the
common good. I am also prepared to combine the preaching role with an adult
education forum on the mission of PCG either before or after Sunday worship. I would
be available for consecutive Sundays, although probably not for more than two. The
stipend expectation is $150 for preaching and $200 for a combined sermon and adult
education forum. There are no stipulations concerning travel or distance.

judavic@earthlink.net I graduated from CTS in June 1997 and was ordained at Faith
United Protestant Church in March 1999. In my years of full time ministry I served
churches in Peotone and Ottawa, IL. While serving as full time pastor the most difficult
responsibility (and the one I most favored) was preaching. I generally preach from the
lectionary and enjoy sharing the gospel of the day with others. In 2004 I retired from full
time ministry and my husband and I now divide our time Illinois and Nevada. I would be
available during the months of April through September and willing to travel any
reasonable distance. I would be available for and especially interested in consecutive
Sundays or sabbatical supply. I have no minimum expectation for stipend. I have found
that churches are fair and as generous as they are able to be, therefore whatever is
customary for the church requesting pulpit supply will be fine.
