							IVAP Available Biology Techniques

1. Flow cytometry assay:
    Analysis of cell phenotypes and cytokine production in cell culture and body fluids.


2. Purification / isolation of cells for in-vivo or in-vitro specific applications.


3. Dosing of allo-or xenoantibody production.


4. Measurement of complement component:
    Evaluation of complement profile (CH50 activity and phenotypes).


5. Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence staining:
   Identification and localisation of specific molecules or structure in tissue samples.
   Three-color immunofluorescence staining can be performed.


6. Labelling cells
    Monitoring of phenotype evolution and activity of cells in vitro and in vivo.


7. Experimental surgery (micro- or angio-surgery).
 a. General surgery:
     Splenectomy, thymectomy, cholecystectomy, nephrectomy, bile duct ligation,
     abdominal vessel surgery...


 b. Allo- or xenotransplantation:
          Cell or tissue transplantation: cell-, islet-, thymus graft transplantation.
          Immediately vascularised or secondary vascularised organ transplantation: skin,
          heart (heterotopic) or kidney


 c. Ischemia-reperfusion injury models
      Heart-, kidney-, liver- warm/cold ischemia-reperfusion injury models.
