SHADES OF COUTURE-JUICY COUTURE SUNGLASSES LAUNCHED IN UK
London, March 2007 – Following the huge success of the Juicy Couture eyewear
collection in USA, where it was launched in 2005, Juicy Couture is excited to announce
the launch of the sunglass collection in the UK.

Since February 2006, in fact, Juicy Couture in the UK has become the label to look to or
look through for wildly stylish and technically brilliant sunglasses. Who else should you
turn to for groovy, girly shades than Juicy Couture’s Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela
Taylor, the women who made jeans, t-shirts and tracksuits the sexiest must-haves in the
American closet? With its collection of sunwear, Juicy Couture partners its witty,
feminine funkiness with the world-class manufacturing expertise of the Safilo Group.
The result is a collection of numerous styles ranging from oversized Jackie O's to metal-
rimmed aviators to rimless shields that are in turn alluring, mysterious and downright
cheeky.

The collection combines bold classic shapes with luxurious details of unmistakable
Juiciness. Take the “Gela” for instance; it is a big, don't-bother-me-poolside-at-the-
Roosevelt-Hotel frame. It is available in say a dark tortoiseshell and comes complete with
a glittering 'Juicy' logo made of Swarovski crystals positioned on the outside of the left
temple and the epithet 'Juicy American Princess' discreetly appears on the inside left
temple. A gold crown charm brightens the right temple tip. The “Lady Michelle” on the
other hand is a curvaceous wraparound available in a champagne colour and features a
crystal heart-coronet on both temples with the saying, "Dude Where's My Couture," that
also comes complete with a surfboard charm. The wonderfully enigmatic skinny
wraparound “Lady Luck” is perfect for kicking butt at the World Poker Championship,
especially in a pink opaline with grey gradient lenses and a red dice charm: Viva La
Juicy, they rightly proclaim. Such style and such safety too: all lenses are 100% resistant
to UV A, B and C rays.

Juicy Couture sunglasses will be available in selected department stores – such as
Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and Brown Thomas (Ireland) –
starting from March 2007.

With Juicy, the future's so bright, we're all going to be wearing the shades.
