							I have made the changes we discussed for the ENGL 399 proposal, and the new version is attached. I also checked with our
department chair, the chair of ACC, and the chair of AFC to ensure that these changes were acceptable to what they had approved.
Here is the response from Robin Tapley, chair of AFC:

"I'm perfectly happy to sign off on these changes to ENGL 399 now ENGL 497.
The course itself has already been approved, so it seems to me that all you
need approval for is the changes. You have explained all of those, and
attached them. Please use this email as my signature approving the changes.
Should you need an actual signature I'll be happy to send you one PDF.
