 We are delighted that you are considering Lake Macquarie Yacht Club for your
                                   Function.



Located on the beautiful Belmont Bay, Lake Macquarie Yacht Club is one of the
   only absolute waterfront venues throughout the Newcastle and the Lake
                              Macquarie region.



   Here at Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, we are equipped with 3 function areas
catering an array of events from meetings to Weddings. Our BBQ Area which can
  be set up with our beautiful marquee for a more formal option, the Northwest
 Corner & Deck Area & our Bridgedeck room with unsurpassed views of stunning
                                 Lake Macquarie.



The documents contained herein provide you with all the details to plan your next
   function. Please note that wedding packages are not included within these
                 documents and can be requested at any time.

Initial Planning Stages

□      Select a date
□      Decide if you would like to become a member to take advantage of the
       discounted member room hire rate
□      Complete and return the attached booking form with your deposit to
       secure your booking
□      If any of your guests live within 5km of the Club, ensure yourself or one of
       your guests is a member of the club to adhere to the 5km radius legislation

Deposit:
Confirmation of booking is required by return of Booking Agreement and by payment of the room hire component as
deposit. The management of Lake Macquarie Yacht Club reserves the right to cancel the booking and allocate the space
to another client if no deposit has been received.

Final Confirmations:
Confirmation of final numbers is required no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. The final number given on this
date will be considered as the minimum number charged for catering purposes. At this time, all outstanding balances are
due to be paid and all service times and wedding information must be provided.

Packages and Pricing
Every endeavor is made to maintain package price & menu items however price & menus are subject to change without
notice and are valid for three (3) months only from date of printing.

Children’s and Service Meals:
Our children’s meals are designed for children 12 and under. Please ask our Functions Coordinator for the associated
costs and menu options.

Membership/ Guest Sign In Arrangements
Lake Macquarie Yacht Club abides by the State Government Legislation of the 5km radius rule; non-members residing
within the 5km radius of the club MUST be signed in by a member. (Lake Macquarie Yacht Club maintains reciprocal
arrangements with Belmont 16 Footers). Therefore, if none of your guests are members of the club, please organise to
have someone join the club as a social member to enable such guests to access the club. Please note that the Bridal
Party also needs to sign in to the club.

Responsible Service of Alcohol
Due to licensing laws, no liquor can be brought onto the premises by any guest at any function. Lake Macquarie Yacht
Club practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol. By law any person under the age of eighteen (18) years may not
consume or purchase an alcoholic beverage. All responsible service of alcohol legislation applies to all guests at all
functions.

No Smoking Legislation for Licensed Clubs in NSW
At Lake Macquarie Yacht Club smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the Clubhouse or in any of the function areas.
Smoking is not permitted within 1.5 metres of where food is being prepared or consumed. Penalties apply.

Entertainment
All entertainment must be approved my lake Macquarie Yacht Club. Due to licensing and noise restrictions, all
entertainment is to cease by 11pm. All entertainment acts are to maintain a responsible noise level as not to disturb Club
neighbours.

21st Birthday Celebrations:
A bond of $500 is payable for all 21st Birthday Celebrations which is returned within five working days of the function,
provided there has been no damage to The Club. Security is required for all 21st birthdays at a rate of $35 per hour per
guard. Functions of up to 50 guests require one guard. Functions over 50 guests require two guards.

Deliveries:
The delivery of Wedding Cakes is not advised before 2pm. Set up of the cake is the responsibility of the delivery person
and no responsibility is accepted by Lake Macquarie Yacht Club for any cakes delivered prior to this time.

Damage
All damage sustained to any part of the venue, equipment or merchandise left on the premises prior to, during or after the
function is the responsibility of the organiser. Confetti, rice, polystyrene balls or the like are not permitted on the premises
and a cleaning fee of $100 will apply if this request is ignored. However rose petals are permitted. Candles are permitted
in function areas as long as the flame is enclosed.

Surcharges
A surcharge applies for all public holiday bookings. Please contact the functions coordinator for more information.

Permissions:
I hereby give permission for Lake Macquarie yacht Club to photograph or record any portion of my event and to use such
media for the clubs promotional purposes.

Cancellation:
Cancellations must be notified in writing and will incur the following fees:
Notice of more than 60 days - Total refund of deposit
Notice of 30 - 60 days - No refund on your deposit
Notice of 30 days or less - Total payment of planned event is required.
                              Booking Agreement
        Lake Macquarie Yacht Club reserves the right to cancel a booking and allocate the space to
                         another client without a Signed Booking Agreement.
