March 24, 2006 NEW MEXICO BULLETIN NO. 360-6-6 SUBJECT: PER – EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE, MID-YEAR PERFORMANCE PROGRESS REVIEWS. TO: All Supervisors Purpose. To inform all supervisors of the mid-year performance progress reviews and of the Zero Tolerance Policy regarding the use of Government Travel Cards. Expiration Date. September 30, 2007 This is a reminder that it is time once again to conduct mid-year performance progress reviews. You are encouraged to make written comments concerning your employee’s performance on the Performance Plan, Progress Review and Appraisal Worksheets, form AD-435B, at the time of the progress review. The purpose of the written comments is to provide for formal identification of the employee’s performance in relation to the performance plan. Employees are also encouraged to provide written comments on the form. Upon completion of the review, the employee and the rating official must initial and date block 6 of the AD-435A. Please note that copies of the mid-year review are maintained by the supervisor and employee and should not be forwarded to the state office. As part of this year’s mid-year review, please have each employee possessing a Bank of America travel card sign the attached statement and return to the state office, attention Josie Tafoya, Voucher Examiner. The purpose of having employees sign this statement is to reaffirm the agency’s commitment to the USDA Zero Tolerance Policy regarding the use of Government travel cards for official business only.
