Purchasing your first home?
DCECU can help
It’s a great time to consider purchasing your first
home. DCECU offers mortgage options with afford-
able rates and easy terms for homes within Michi-
gan. We may even be able to lend on your vacation
 home in Michigan.
Depending on your needs, you may apply for a Con-
ventional Fixed Rate First Mortgage, a Balloon First
Mortgage or a Jumbo Mortgage from DCECU.
The Conventional Fixed Rate First Mortgage is a
great option for many DCECU members. This loan
offers the same monthly payment and interest rate
throughout the life of the loan (available for 10, 15,
 20, 25 or 30 years).
If you don’t intend to stay in a home for a long
period of time, the Balloon First Mortgage is per-
fect. This loan allows you to make a lower monthly
payment while building equity in your home. While
your payment and interest rate would remain the
same during the balloon term (3*, 5 or 7 years), the
remaining balance would need to be refinanced or
paid off at the end of the term.
Additionally, DCECU offers Jumbo Mortgages. Loan
amounts are available above $417,000 up to
 $750,000.
For information, stop by DCECU, call our Mortgage
 Department at (989) 835-7794 or (800) 835-
 7794 or visit www.dcecu.org.
