Master cylinder brand and bore dimension - .70 or .75 inch
Fluid type - Glycol or Silicone
Fluid pipe type - plastic, solid pipe or braided stainless
Slave cylinder brand
Slave cylinder travel dimension when clutch depressed - should be 1/2“ to 5/8”
Slave cylinder push rod length when measured from slave end to center of clevis pin hole
Slave cylinder push rod location in cross shaft arm - top, middle, bottom
Slave cylinder - Is the factory spring present in the slave cylinder? Y/N
Slave cylinder - Is an adjustable push rod & return spring used to pull back the release bearing? Y/N
Slave cylinder - Is a supplemental spring used to preload the release bearing on the plate fingers? Y/N
Cross shaft bushing condition
Cross shaft - Is it a greasable version? Y/N
Clutch fork tapered pin condition
Clutch fork - Is it welded to the cross shaft? Y/N
Clutch fork - Is it thru-bolted on the cross shaft? Y/N
Clutch fork to release bearing sleeve “dowel pins” condition
Clutch cover plate brand and part number
Clutch cover plate - Is there any sign of wear where the release bearing rests on the plate? Y/N

Flywheel condition and will it be resurfaced?
Crankshaft thrust washer condition
Are all replacement components the exact dimensions of the original components? Y/N Note: It is
important to note that the components you took out of the car may not be correct so you might want to
compare dimensions etc with a car that has a properly operating clutch. Each person’s situation will be
different depending on whether the car is new to you or the clutch ever did/did not work properly for you.
