                     CHILD CARE WORKER – TEMPORARY PART - TIME
                     CARLETON SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE PROGRAM

JOB OVERVIEW
To assist in the planning, implementation and delivery of a 30 space licensed School Age Program. This
includes program planning and delivery, program development, public relations and systems maintenance
in conjunction with the Program Manager. This position is a minimum of 20 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS
 School Age Certificate or Responsible Adult Certificate required.
 Must have formal, related experience in a licensed Child Care Program.
 Class 4 drivers license an asset.
 Valid First Aid certificate.
 Strong planning, organizational, leadership and communication skills.
 Ability/experience working in a multicultural environment.
 Second language an asset.
 Able to work flexible hours.
 Able to participate in activities with the children (i.e. swimming, skating, etc…)

JOB DETAILS
Salary Range           : $16.33 - $17.66 per hour
Schedule               : 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday, working between 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Location               : 3250 Kingsway
Expected Term Date : January 2011 – June 2011
This position is covered by a Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 1936-05.
