HOW WE KNOW WE ARE SUCCEEDING

                            Assessing Student Progress

 Our teachers are open to diversified teaching methods (traditional and individualized) to
    meet student needs.

 Teachers are implementing practical within theory so that students are better able to
understand and apply the theoretical applications.

 Teachers are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve student success.

 Teachers are giving more tutoring to students (after and before classes, during lunch and
supper time) to enable them to be more successful in their programs.

 We recognize prior learning (e.g. equivalences for courses previously done relevant to the
    program students are registered in).

 There are more youth registering in our programs and teachers are working with them by
using both the andragogical and pedagogical approach to help them succeed in their
    programs.

 Through our Volet III exploration programs, the youth sector is able to get a real ‘feel’ for
our programs and when registering for the programs, are not coming in ‘cold’ which can
lead to a better success rate.

 We offer diversified programs (PNT, customized training in industry) to meet industry and
    student needs.

 We have a counsellor who can help orient students to a program suited to their needs.
