       “Amazing Animals”, “Today’s Superstars”, “People We Should Know”, and “Where People Work”. Edited
       September 11: A Primary Source History, which earned a starred review by the American Library Association
     Collaborated with designers and executive editor on creative direction of book projects. Worked with photo
       editor to research and select book photography.
     Recruited freelance writing talent. Administered freelance assignments and contracts, and worked with
       authors to shape manuscript content.
     Created customizable scheduling template to help improve the planning process for each book’s production.

Managing Editor, NM InSite
Developed, produced, and managed web content for InSite, a style blog connected to
       Conceptualized and implemented interactive features including slideshows, polls, and video for InSite. Worked
        with the Neiman Marcus online marketing division to develop an improved balance of editorial content,
        featured products, and blog publicity. Efforts resulted in an increased amount of consumer traffic and
        participation on the website by approximately 30 to 50 percent.
       Led weekly meetings with the blogger team, focusing on the development of website publicity and feature
        ideas. Independently managed scheduling, assigning, editing, and proofreading of staff writers’ blog posts.
       Researched and wrote daily posts on targeted Neiman Marcus products and general interest feature topics
        including fashion, beauty, style, home and entertaining, and retail trends. Attended store events and
        interviewed visiting designers for online profiles.
       Produced email content for Neiman Marcus-affiliated designer websites. Customized copywriting style to fit
        with each designer’s editorial voice. Websites included Michael Kors, St. John, and Zegna.

Managed custom educational projects through full program life cycle including concept development, client
management, copywriting, design, printing, and industry partner feedback.
     Partnered with business sponsors for the development of youth educational programs and educator materials.
        Examples of work include: teaming with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the development of a Food
        Pyramid awareness program used in schools across America, managing all aspects of a teen essay contest in
        conjunction with the film “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”, writing a series for Plan USA targeting child
        poverty, and creating supplemental materials with a health theme for several food industry clients.
     Wrote, edited, and proofread department materials including educational programs, activity handouts,
