You are the pilot of your own life and therefore in control of propelling and navigating your future. Because is your navigational agent to guide you. This means that you have choices and decisions to make about: • Which direction do you wish to go – where do you really want to be in your life and career? • What distances do you want to travel – where are you motivated to be in your life and career? • What is your travel itinerary – what meaning does your work provide you in the context of where you are at in your career and life? • What meaning your work has in the context of where you are at in your life. • Which do you prefer to travel, business class or economy – do you need others to provide for your needs or are you more selfsufficient? • Over what terrains do you wish to travel - challenging mountains, open fields, angry seas or peaceful valleys?

What experiences do you wish to encounter in your career – how would you like to be remembered for your contribution? • What kind of experiences do you wish to encounter and how would you like your memory to live on? • How well equipped are you to deal with the unexpected weather conditions that are presented on your journey – how do you deal with crises and stabilize your direction to get yourself back on course? • When and where do you refuel – where do you get the support, encouragement and nourishment to enable you to continue at a desired pace through your life journey? • When do you land and slow down enough to see the individual blades of your propeller – how often do you take time out to get perspective on whether you are in balance and you are addressing what is most important to you?
