M: I’m just rambling!
O: Read your speech.
Y: My speech is too plain!
O: Get a notebook.
J: I don’t know the word I’m looking for!
O: Google it.
K: I want to speak more powerfully!
O: No input, no output.
 Why do we ramble?

I went to Shenzhen to attend Toastmasters District Convention. I
needed friends and social life, so I voluntarily offered help and
participated in lots of events. It had been only 3 months but I was a
good member.
In the convention, 2005 World Champion of Public Speaking Mr.
Lance Miller came to give a workshop. I liked his workshop and his
personality. He seemed sincere and down-to-earth. So I decided to
buy his educational DVD. I made my way through the crowd and
asked the helper.
   “How much is this?”
   “600 RMB”
   “Oh…!”
Mr. Lance Miller was standing a few steps away smiling at me. I
looked around. There were some people asking the price and then
they just left. I thought GEM would support the cost if I shared this
DVD with other members to benefit. Yeah, I was innocent. Anyway, I
wanted to do something memorable about the convention, so I just
gave out 6 pieces of Pink Mao.

always been said it was on “Special Offer”! So I just gave out 6

 For a moment I considered my appearance,
brushing off my pants and jacket, running my fingers

      mustache… (from Ash Wednesday)
