          Discipleship Abandoned
 Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus left us with one responsibility, “Go
   and make disciples...”

Why do you think He left us with this
  command rather than, “Go make
  believers, converts, ministry programs,
  go plant churches, erect church
  buildings, etc.”?
The Spiritual History of the Church 4
          Discipleship Abandoned
People in the early church were identified
 as disciples:

                                Acts 6:1,2
                                Acts 9:1,26
                                Acts 11:26
                                Acts 20:30
 Why?

   How to make a disciple:
   Matthew 28:19, 20
               Baptize them
Teach them to observe all that
             Jesus commanded

          The Forgotten Doctrines
When we fail to make disciples
    Christendom deteriorates because
people no longer know what it truly
means to live with Jesus, fulfill their
    ministry, and advance His Kingdom.

What doctrines about Jesus do you think
got left behind when the Church
    stopped making disciples?

have an effect on our lives.
