Letter of Invitation for Exhibition and Sponsorship

I would like to cordially invite your company to participate as a Sponsor and/or exhibitor at the 2011
American Control Conference that will be held in San Francisco, CA, during June 29 to July 1, 2011. This
conference attracts about 1500 attendees representing industry, academia, and government agencies, as
well as students with deep interest in Control Systems and Automation from across a wide variety of
application areas. With this audience, exhibit space affords excellent opportunities for visibility, sales, and
recruitment.

Results from the state of the art research and applications in the Automatic Control area will be presented
in parallel technical sessions throughout each day at the conference, with accompanying papers
published in conference proceedings. Special industry and government panel sessions will provide the
latest R&D opportunities in this field.

Given that this conference will be held in Downtown San Francisco Hilton Hotel, we expect a record
attendance and thus a high traffic in the exhibits area. The conference internet café will be located in the
exhibit area, as well as all of the refreshments will be served within that area.

The cost for an 8 ft by 10 ft booth will be $2,000. Your company name and a brief company abstract will
be displayed on the conference web site and in the program. You may pay an additional $500 to have
your company brochure included as an insert in the attendees registration package. Your organization
may also be an industrial sponsor for $5,000. Sponsorship will include a single booth space, a brochure
insert into the registration package, a presentation opportunity during lunch or dinner, two complimentary
conference registrations, and prominent display of your logo on the web site and at the conference.
