services, is delighted to announce the appointment of financial market commentator James Hughes as Senior Market
Analyst. James has joined Alpari (UK)’s London office from CMC Markets.

In his new role, James will further expand Alpari (UK)’s media presence as well as the company’s involvement in
conferences and web-based events. James will provide insights and knowledge to traders via leading media outlets.
He will work with the most reputable media organisations in our field and share Alpari (UK)’s vast experience in
Forex, CFDs and precious metals with journalists on a daily basis.

Prior to joining Alpari (UK), James spent nine years at CMC Markets in roles including Market Analyst and CFD
Trader. He built CMC’s media presence from its early days to a fully comprehensive programme. During his time at
CMC, James acted as a market commentator and was a regular in the financial media, including on BBC, Sky
News, CNBC and Bloomberg television. James will also look after PR initiatives at Alpari (UK), with a focus on
growing the company’s brand profile.
