1. The RAFGA Team will be playing a pre Inter-Service warm-up fixture against the
RAF ‘A’ Team at Seacroft Golf Club on 03 Sep 09.
2. RAF Team Selection. The following players have been selected to represent the
RAF Team:

4. RAFGA Officials. The following RAFGA Officials will be in attendance:

5. Timings. Players are to arrive at Seacroft Golf Club by no later than 0815 on 03
Sep 09. The first tee-time is 0900 and further details regarding match format will be briefed
on the day.
6. Accommodation. Players are to forward any accommodation requirements for this
match to either WO Yates or myself (contact details at para 12 below). Players will be
accommodated at RAF Digby, however due to reduced availability, all SNCOs and below
will be accommodated in Barrack Blocks. Officers will be accommodated in the Officers’
Mess. Players should report to the Main Guardroom from where they will be directed to
their accommodation.
7. Seacroft Dress Code. All players and officials are to comply with the club dress
codes on and off the course at all times. The club is particularly keen that all visitors abide
by the rules and all attendees are asked to ensure especially that: no golf shoes (including
soft spikes) are worn in the clubhouse, proper street shoes are worn at all times in the
clubhouse (gentlemen must wear socks), no trainers/trainer like footwear or flip flops, no
denim on or off the course and shorts must be properly tailored, not "cargo" style (multi
pocketed) or athletic versions.
8. Team Dress. The RAF Team is to wear the 2006 Glenmuir playing kit. If personnel
consider they have a shortfall in any area of Official Clothing they are to contact Mr Phil
Crossland or myself by 26 Aug 09 at the latest. The RAF ‘A’ Team will be provided with
playing shirts on the day.
9. Catering. Coffee will be available on arrival and lunch will be provided between rounds.
Once the afternoon round and post-match presentation is complete, players are free to leave.
No evening meal will be provided. There will be a personal contribution of £5 payable towards
the cost of food which will be collected by WO Yates. Cheques should be made payable to
‘RAFGA’.
10. Travel. Cost of travel is admissible within the United Kingdom for nominated
personnel in accordance with JSP 752, Chapter 4, Section 8 using DSB(RAF)/299000/14/3
dated 27 Jan 09. The reference and date of this letter together with the Station/Unit UIN
are to be quoted on all relevant documentation.
11. Availability. All players detailed above have already confirmed their availability with
the Men’s Capt, however, should any player’s availability change, please contact either Sqn
Ldr Dean Lewis (Capt), Wg Cdr Stu Halliday (Director), or Mr Phil Crossland (Finance
Director) ASAP.
