Lufthansa CityLine, a wholly owned subsidiary of International carrier, Deutsche Lufthansa AG and is one of five leading
partners in the Lufthansa Regional concept. The company is the second passenger airline in the Lufthansa Group,
engaged in the business of regional transporting passengers and cargo. In addition, the company also offers charter
services thorough its partnership with sister company Eurowings. It operates autonomously on air routes in Europe and
Germany, which are not served by the smallest aircrafts in the Lufthansa fleet. Currently, more than 7.3 million
passengers fly with Lufthansa CityLine in a year, which makes the airline the leader in European regional air transport.

The company’s route management and marketing are integrated into the relevant division in the Lufthansa Group. It offers
scheduled passenger transport to about 60 destinations around Europe. Lufthansa CityLine offers its customers a

operated 23 CRJ200, 20 CRJ700 and 12 CRJ900 with a capacity of 50, 70 and 84 seats respectively, 18 Avro with a

Lufthansa CityLine operates all four variants of the Bombardier CRJ family: 50-seat CRJ100 and CRJ200, 70-seat
CRJ700 and 84-seat CRJ900. The company offers a wide range of direct and connecting flights with more than 475 daily
flights to 60 destinations. Its domestic route network system principally operates through its most important Munich airport
with nearly 800 cityline-departures in a week. The company manages substantial domestic and international route
network and served as many as 50 destinations around 20 countries. Among the destinations within Lufthansa CityLine`s
route network includes Europe’s metropolises from Madrid to Helsinki, and from Milan to Amsterdam. The fleet in the
passenger transportation encompasses 73 jets whose capacity ranges from 50 to more than 90 passengers.

Lufthansa CityLine operates through two joint ventures with the international airlines Canadian (Bombardier, CAE) and
British (British Aerospace) manufacturers of its aircraft and simulators. The joint venture companies together operate the
flight simulators for the Bombardier CRJ (50, 70 and 84 seats) and Avro RJ85s (93 seats). The company’s pilots received
training at the simulator center of CST Berlin (CityLine Simulator und Training GmbH Berlin) for flight duty on these types
of aircraft.

In February 2006, a 4-week trial run is launched in the context of the “Hamburg Programme,” which involves “pingpong
connections” always flown by the same aircraft. Eight aircraft from the company’s fleet comprising of four CRJ700s and
four CRJ200s, are stationed in the Hanseatic city exclusively for this purpose.

In the second quarter of 2006, the traffic statistics showed that the company has increased the productivity of its fleet by
more than 3% over the preceding year. Further, on July 1, 2006, the first of a total of 12 Bombardier CRJ900s is delivered
to Lufthansa CityLine. This 84-seater jet is the new flagship of the company’s fleet. Lufthansa CityLine becomes the first
European regional airline to acquire the certification from the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (Germany’s Civil Aviation Authority) for
satellite-supported navigation during approach during October 2006.

The company holds two affiliated companies with 50% equity stake in CityLine Avro Simulator und Training GmbH Berlin,
Berlin (CAST) and CityLine Canadair Simulator und Training GmbH Berlin, Berlin (CCST).
