the company had entered into an agreement with Lufthansa resulting in increased market share along Cyprus route. The
company owns 99.29% interest in Air Greece S.A. Aegean is headquartered at Kifisia, Greece and employs 2,032 people.

On July 25, 2007, the company and Lufthansa Technik signed two new contracts on Total Component Support TCS and
Total Engine Support TES.

The company recorded revenues of €462.5 million during the fiscal year ended December 2007, an increase of 21% over
2006. The operating profit of the company was €30.8 million during the fiscal year 2007, an increase of 6.7% over 2006.
The net profit of the company was €35.78 million during the fiscal year 2007, an increase of 40.8% over 2006.

Aegean Airlines S.A. - Business Description

Aegean Airlines is an aviation transportation company that provides services for transportation of passengers and
commodities inside and outside Greece. The company caters to the need of both domestic and international passengers.
Its operations also includes import, trade and leasing of aircraft and spare parts along with provision of support services
such as, aviation applications, technical support, and ground handling services. The company also provides charter
flights, cargo services, through a network of ticket offices and e-ticket services. The company provides 150 scheduled
flights daily to 15 destinations in Greece and 10 internationally including Germany, Italy, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, and
Egypt.

The company is the most dynamically developing Greek airline and the first ever Greek airline that provides electronic
ticketing and electronic check-in. It is a Regional Partner of Lufthansa providing access for its passengers to Lufthansa’s
global network. Additionally, the cooperation helps for the collection and redemption of frequent flier miles by passengers
traveling on both airlines.

It operates through two reportable business segments namely: Scheduled flight revenue and Charter flight revenue.

The scheduled segment network covers 17 Greek and 12 international cities. The company has a code sharing
agreement with Lufthansa for international sectors apart from commercial co-operation agreements with other companies
for the operation along the routes in the code-share. This segment recorded revenues of €413.47 million, which
accounted for 89.4% of the company’s total revenues for the fiscal year 2007.

The company also offers charter flights on behalf of major tour operators serving more than 40 destinations across
Europe. This segment recorded revenues of €49 million, which accounted for 10.6% of the company’s total revenues for
the fiscal year 2007.

The company’s extensive domestic destinations includes 18 scheduled domestic routes namely: Ioannina, kavala,,
Alexandroupolis, Chios, Samos, Kos, Mykonos, Kerkyra, Chania and a direct air route between Heraklion and
Thessaloniki through a co-operation between Lufthansa and Aegean. Its international routes includes, 14 direct schedule
routes such as Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Sofia, Bucharest and others. In addition, in the year 2007 the company
has added new routes such as Athens to Frankfurt, and Athens to Bucharest.

The company’s revenue streams include the segments, scheduled passenger, charter passenger and others including
cargo, services and executive aviation accounting for 82%, 13% and 5% of the total revenues respectively.
