                               AISL Team Capsules
                      Cincinnati Excite (0-1) The Excite will be going to the dogs (and cats, ferrets,
                      rabbits, and more) this Saturday night when they host the Massachusetts Twisters
                      at 7:30PM.
                        Members of the Butler County Humane Society will be hosting an “Adopt a Pet”
                      night at the Game Time Training Center. There will be pets of all sorts on display
                      from 4-8PM all looking for a good home for the holidays.
                        In addition, Sports Face face paint will be distributed to fans entering the arena
                      Saturday night.
                      Massachusetts Twisters (0-0) In their drive to repeat as AISL champions, the
                      Twisters have re-signed their “big three” of forwards Everson Maciel and Jeff
                      Deren, and goalkeeper Paul DelloStritto.
                        Maciel was the league‟s second leading scorer last season with 36 points (1-
                      17+17=36) and Deren finished fifth with 30 points, and led the league with five two-
                      point goals. DelloStritto owned virtually all of the goalkeeping top marks, including
                      minutes played, wins, shots faced, and saves made.
                      Northern Illinois Rebels (0-0) While the Rebels have yet to kick a ball, three of
                      their players have already lifted a trophy.
                        Jose Gavilanes, Alex Flores, and Heriberto Lopez were all members of the
                      Robert Morris College (IL) team that won the United States College Athletic
                      Association‟s mens‟ soccer championship last Friday in Rochester, MI. RMC
                      defeated Columbia Union College (MD) 2-1 in the championship game.
                        This was the second consecutive title for RMC.
                         Lopez and Gavilanes were named to the all-tournament team, and Gavilanes
                      was named the tournament‟s most valuable player.
                      Rockford Rampage (1-0) Bojan Jovicic‟s goal in the Rampage‟s 8-1 victory over
                      the Excite was his first professional indoor goal.




                      Tulsa Revolution (0-0) When the Rev‟s kick off their first AISL season in
                      January, it will be the first professional indoor soccer game in Tulsa since 1998,
                      when the second incarnation of the Tulsa Roughnecks kicked a ball in the United
                      Soccer League‟s indoor circuit.
                        That season, which would be the league‟s last, the Roughnecks would finish in
                      second place with a 10-3 record. They would lose to the Baltimore Bays in the
                      league‟s championship game 11-4 at a game held at Tulsa‟s Expo Square Pavilion.
