Welcome to the UNM Medical Group. The following is a summary of the benefits currently offered to
regular UNMMG employees whose regular assignment is at least .50 FTE. Premium contributions
will be pro-rated for part time employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week

INSURANCE AVAILABILITY
Health Insurance
 UNMMG offers group insurance through two carriers: Presbyterian and Lovelace. Additionally,
   three levels of coverage are available depending on whether you choose to use Lobocare, In-
   network Providers or Out of network providers.
 UNMMG will pay 75% of the premium cost for single coverage and 60% for family coverage.

Dental Insurance
 A low option and a high option plan are available through Delta Dental
 UNMMG will pay 75% of the premium cost for single coverage and 60% for family coverage.

Long Term Disability, Basic Life Insurance
 UNMMG will share the cost of the premium for LTD and basic life insurance.

Supplemental Life, Vision and AD&D
 These plans are available at 100% cost to the employee

Short Term Disability
 STD will be provided; UNMMG will pay 100% of the cost of the premium.

PAID TIME OFF
Holidays
 6 standard holidays (MLK Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after
   Thanksgiving ) plus Holiday Break which includes Christmas, New Years Day and an additional
   5-6 days over the holiday period which are designated each year.

Paid Time Off Plan
 Employees will accrue 30 days per year which may be used for illness, personal time or vacation.
 Individuals may cash out a designated number of hours every year at 60 cents per dollar if a
   minimal designated number of hours remain in the bank for use during the year.
 48 hours of Extended Sick Leave, a form of short-term sick pay that may be used for a personal
   qualified illness or injury, will be put in a ESL bank for each employee. ESL may be used in
   conjunction with STD.

RETIREMENT PLAN
403(b) Defined Contribution Plan.
 No mandatory employee contribution.
 UNMMG matches the employee’s contribution up to a designated percentage of salary, currently
   6%, and also may make a discretionary contribution up to a designated percentage of the
   employee’s salary , currently 4%, each year.
