					     National Sales Director, Jan Thetford, invites you to join her for a
         Lubbock Area Quarterly Awards and
           Hostess Contest Extravaganza!
                                                     Who: YOU!

                                         When: Tuesday, March 23, 2010
                                             6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

                                             Where: The Event Center
                                             4420-6th (6th & Quaker)

                    What: The evening will be filled with recognition, education and inspiration.
                    We will recognize all Quarter 3 (Dec. 16th-March 15th) Star Consultants,
                            as well as our Top Sellers and Team Builders in the Area.
                    We will honor our party hostesses for the quarter with recognition and the
                                        opportunity to win a flat screen TV!

                                  Dress Code: Mary Kay Success Meeting Attire

                                Cost: All Star Consultants will attend free of charge.
                                          All other Consultants will pay $10.
                                 If paying at the door, cash only will be accepted.

               Deadline: Friday, March 19th will be the deadline to RSVP and purchase your tickets.
                              (Tickets may be available at the door if space allows.)

   Each Consultant and Director who chooses to participate in the Hostess Contest Extravaganza will need to
     register and Pay $10 by February 1st. If paid after February 1st, cost will be $15.
   Consultants, your $10 fee will allow you to enter as many hostesses as you want to for the flat screen TV.
   Directors, you will pay $20 to enter as many hostesses as you choose. (See hostess registration form.)
   Every Consultant and Director who pays $10/$20 to join the Hostess Contest Extravaganza, holds 5 or more
     parties during the quarter, and turns in Weekly Accomplishment Sheets to validate sales, will also be entered
     into a $500 cash drawing for Directors & Consultants only. Each Director or Consultant will be able to enter 1
     time for every 5 parties held during the quarter. (Example: 15 parties held in the quarter = 3 entries to the
     cash drawing.
   For this event, a party is a minimum of 3 people in attendance and $150 in sales. You will want to coach your
     hostess and encourage outside sales so the $150 mark is met.
   We will have awesome raffle drawings throughout the evening!
   Hostess must be present on Tuesday, March 23rd, to win the flat screen TV, if she lives within an 2 hours of
     Lubbock. If she does not live close, her Consultant must be present to accept her reward,. No exceptions.

   Each Director has been asked to pay $20 rather than $10 to assure that all financial obligations will be met for this
     event.

   Each Director will need to have all recognition information to Jan by Friday, March 19th at midnight cst.

   If your units information is not received by Jan by Friday the 19th, there will be no recognition given. No
     exceptions guys!



How do I enter my hostess for chances at the cash and prizes?

1. Each consultant pays the $10 entry fee (make checks payable to your director) that enters her and an unlimited
   number of her hostesses and interviewees into the contest. Deadline for a consultant to pay the $10 fee to her director
   is February 1st or $15 by March 19th. Directors, turn your total monies collected in to Jan Thetford March 19th.
   Directors, bring cash, not checks to Jan.

2. When you pay your $10 fee to enter, each of your hostesses will receive one chance for every party she holds that is
   $150 in sales and has 3 guests in attendance. She will receive one additional chance for listening to Fast Facts/
   Interview.

3. When a consultant pays the $10 fee to enter, she may also enter any person who has listened to the facts about the
   business and completed an opinion survey that was turned in to the director.



What are the rules for the hostess?

1. Each Hostess may have as many classes and outside orders as she wishes during the contest period. All Hostesses
   must have held at least one class during the contest period. (A “class” consists of a minimum of 2 guests other than
   the Hostess. The product demonstration must have an opening, body and closing.) The #1 Hostess with sales over
   $200 present at the Awards Program is guaranteed $100!

2. If a Hostess lives over 2 hours away she does not have to be present to win money, as long as someone is present to
   represent her. In the event of an emergency, a Hostess may send someone in her place. (A death in the family or a
   serious personal illness constitutes an emergency.)
