This should facilitate closer monitoring of homework for both parents and teachers. Please support your children with the completion of homework tasks and returning homework on time. UNIFORM Thank you very much for sending your children to school in the correct uniform. We believe smart children have a more positive attitude to learning. May we take this opportunity to remind you of some simple rules closely linked to uniform? School uniform should be worn at all times No leggings KS1 and Foundation Stage children are expected to change into pumps for indoor wear KS2 children are expected to wear smart, black, sensible shoes in school and change for playtime – trainers, old shoes, etc. PE Kit (white Ss. P & P t-shirt and dark shorts) should be worn for all PE lessons Trainers must be worn for all outside PE lessons No jewellery other than watches or stud earrings should be worn Hair accessories should be plain Nail varnish is not allowed No chewing/bubble gum allowed Bags should be of a small size due to congested cloakrooms Wallets or book bags are required for the borrowing of library books ALL ITEMS OF UNIFORM MUST BE CLEARLY NAMED.
