GTZ Fuel Price News June 2009
Driven by hopes of economic recovery crude oil prices were pushed to over $71 a barrel (about 51€) last week.
Compared to the average price level in April 2009, prices increased by around 17%. In countries with a
regulated pricing regimes this sharp increase brings the issue of price adjustments sooner than expected back
on the political agenda.
