Using the Application

Getting Started
1. Download the VZW Tones Deluxe 3.0 application on your Verizon Wireless device through
Get It Now. You can access Get It Now by pressing the right navigation key or by browsing from
your phones main menu.
    • From the Get It Now menu choose the Tunes and Tones option.
    • Next choose Get New, Get Providers or the Get It Now Shopping Cart (depending on the
        device type)
    • Next, depending on your device, you will either select the Get Tones and navigate to the
        True Tones Category or enter directly into the True Tones Category

2. Find the VZW Tones Deluxe application; highlight it using the 5-way nav key. Press select/ok
key and
    highlight Free – Unlimited. Press select/ok to download the application. The Free – Unlimited
price plan
    allows you to download the application, browse available content and preview ringtones and
ringback
    tones at no charge. To purchase ring tones and ringback tones to use on your device you
must pay the
    designated price that is presented at the time of the tone download or use a Value Pak Credit
(See Value
    Paks below).
Initial Startup
When you first start the application, you must accept the terms and conditions to continue into the
application. You will only have to do this once. Once you have accepted the terms and conditions,
you can start browsing and previewing ringtones and ringback tones for free.


Browse Ringtones/RBT’s by Featured Artist
Like the artist you see on the home page? Jump right to a list of their tones or RBT’s.
        1. Select the Featured category from the main screen. The first artist listed on the next
page will
            be the one pictured on the home screen.
        2. Use the 5-way nav key to select any of the artists on this page, press the select/ok key
        on your
            phone and you will see a list of the artist’s tunes.




Browse by What’s Hot or What’s New
Want to see the latest and greatest true tones or RBT content? Look through the What’s Hot and
What’s New lists.
        1. Use the 5-way nav key to select What’s Hot or What’s New.
        2. Press the ok/select key to display the content lists.
        3. Hot Tip: Use the number keys on your keypad to select the number of the option that
        you want to
           select as displayed on the left hand side of the menu option.

    1. Select the Browse menu Item on the main screen by using the 5-way nav key to highlight
    the Browse option and pressing the select/ok key on your phone.
    2. Once you have found the category you are looking for, highlight the category and press the
select/ok
       button to retrieve the list of ringtones in that category. Each category is ordered
    alphabetically by
        artist and is partitioned by letter for easy browsing.

Searching for Ringtone and Ringback Tone content
Search by artist or title to easily find the content you want. Use the 5-way nav key to navigate up
to the tool bar on the top of the display. Navigate to the right of the tool bar to select the “Search”
tab.
         1. Use the 5-way nav key to select the Search button on the tool bar and press the
         select/ok
            key on your phone.
         2. From the pop-up menu select the type of search you wish to perform.
         3. Using your keypad enter artist or title in the highlighted text box. When searching for
         an Artist
            or Title you must enter at least two letters but the search will match partial searches.
         For
            instance, entering ‘ea’ will return any artists or songs beginning with ‘ea’ such as Earth
         Wind and
            Fire.
         4. When you have entered at least two characters, press the left soft key.




Preview a Ringtone or Ringback Tone
Use the Preview option to check out a ringtone or ringback tone before you buy it. Please note,
not all ringback tones have previews. When attempting to preview a song that is available as
both a ringtone and RBT, you must scroll down and highlight one of the two before the preview
soft key becomes active. Note that if you have highlighted ‘Both’, the preview button will not light
up.

        1. Highlight the ringtone or ringback tone that you wish to preview by selecting it in the
        menu using
            the 5-way nav key.
        2. Press select/ok to access the Preview/Purchase menu.
        3. Use the 5-way nav key to select the preview option or press the preview soft key. **If a
        song is
            available as both a ringtone and RBT you will need to specify, by highlighting one or
        the other,
            which you would like to preview**
        4. The preview will start automatically after the ringtone or ringback tone preview has
        been
            downloaded.
        5. The play back controls are selected using the 5-way nav key and allow you to play,
        pause and
            stop playback. Pressing the select/ok key will allow you to select the highlighted
        control.
        6. Pressing ‘Clr’ or Cancel will serve users recommendations based on the previewed
selection if
              they are available.




Purchasing & Downloading Ringtones or Ringback Tones
So you have found a tone, previewed it, and now you want it. You’re just three clicks away from
purchasing your tone.
       1. Highlight the ringtone that you want to purchase by using the 5-way nav key on your
handset.
       2. Press the select/ok button to access the Preview/Purchase pop-up menu.
       3. Use the 5-way nav key to select the Purchase option. **If the ringtone is available as
       both a
          ringtone and RBT, you may choose to buy both for the bundled discount price, or you
       may
          choose just the ringtone or RBT**
       4. Press the select/ok key to view the information about your purchase. The ringtone title
       will be
         displayed along with the dollar price for the tone. If you have Value Pak credits an
         option will also be presented to use the credit to buy the tone. Use the nav key to
         highlight the dollar or Value Pak purchase option you desire. Note: Value Pak credits
         can only be used to purchase RINGTONES and cannot be applied for Bundle
         purchases.
       5. Press the Purchase soft key at the lower left or press the “Ok” key to initiate the
       purchase and
          start the download. Please note: Ringback tone content is not actually downloaded to
        the device
            but is made available on the network. See FAQ’s below for more information.
        6. When the ringtone has been successfully purchased and saved to the handset or the
        ringback
           tone purchased, you will be able to playback the ringtone or ringback tone, set it as
           your default ringtone or ringback tone, or return to the content list that you were
           browsing.




Setting a Ringtone as your Default
You can set your new ringtone as the default right from the download success screen.

        1. After you have downloaded a ringtone, you will be asked if you would like to set it as
your default.
        2. Use the left soft key to set it as the default ringtone. Note: If you have just purchased
        both
          ringtone and RBT, you will be prompted to choose whether you want to set the ringtone,
          RBT or both as you defaults.

You can also use VZW Tones Deluxe “Manage Ringtones” feature to set your default tones.
       1. Highlight the “Manage” tab at the top of the screen using the 5-way nav key and press
       the
          select/ok button on your phone to display the Manage menu.
       2. Select the Manage Ringtones option from the Manage menu.
       3. Select the My Ringtones option.
       4. Select the ringtone that you would like to set as your default ringtone and press the
       select/ok key
          to see the ‘Set as default/Delete/Play‘ menu.
       5. Select ‘Set as Default’ from this menu and your selected ringtone will now be used for
       your
          default ringtone.

Setting a Ringback Tone as Your Default
You can set your new ringback tone as the default right from the download success screen.
        1. After you have purchased a ringback tone, you will be asked if you would like to set it
as your
          default.
        2. Use the left soft key to set it as the default ringback tone. Note: If you have just
        purchased both
          ringtone and RBT, you will be prompted to choose whether you want to set the ringtone,
          RBT or both as you defaults.
You can also use VZW Tones Deluxe “Manage Ringback Tones” feature to set your default RBT
or user defined jukebox.
        1. Highlight the “Manage” tab at the top of the screen using the 5-way nav key and press
        the
           select/ok button on your phone to display the Manage menu.
        2. Select the “Manage Ringbacks” from the Manage menu.
        3. Select the “My Ringbacks” option.
        4. Select the RBT that you would like to set as your default RBT and press the select/ok
        key to see
           the ‘Set as Default/Play’ menu.
        5. Select ‘Set as Default’ from this menu and your selected Ringback tone will now be
        marked with
           a check mark, indicating that it is now set as your default ringback tone.
Or
        1. Highlight the “Manage” tab at the top of the screen using the 5-way nav key and press
        the
            select/ok button on your phone to display the Manage menu.
        2. Select “Manage Ringbacks” from the menu.
        3. Select ‘My Settings’ from the menu.
        4. Select “My Default Ringback Tone” from the menu.
        5. Your current default ringback tone will be displayed.
        6. Press the right soft key to change your default ringback tone.
        7. Select your ringback tone or jukebox from the list and press the select/ok button to set
        it as your
            default ringback tone.




Recommendations
VZW Tones deluxe now offers recommendations for ringtones and ringback tones based on user
purchase habits and genre preference. If alternate recommendations are available for specific
songs, they will be shown after each purchase and preview. The recommended songs are
selected because they have appealed to other users with similar tastes. Feel free to preview the
recommendations or press the left cancel soft key to clear them.
Ringtone Management

Manage Menu
The “Manage” menu allows you to do a number of things with VZW Tones Deluxe. To access it
use the 5 way nav key to highlight the Manage tab on the toolbar at the top of the display. Press
select/ok and the Manage sub menus will be presented.

Manage Ringtones (Set Ringer, Play and Delete)
Using VZW Tones’ Deluxe Ringtone Management feature, you can review ringtones that you
have already downloaded. Highlight the Manage tab at the top of the screen using the 5-way nav
key and press the select/ok key on your phone to display the Manage menu.
        1. Select the Manage Ringtones menu and press select/ok
        2. Select the My Ringtones option from the menu.
        3. Select the ringtone you would like to review.
        4. From the ‘Set as default/Delete/Play pop up select play to hear your tone.
        5. The ringtone will play automatically.
        6. Playback controls are selected using the 5-way nav key to select the option you would
        like.
           Toggle left and right using the nav key and press select/ok on the highlighted icon to
           control the player. Standard player options are available; play, pause, stop and replay.
        7. The ‘Clr’ key will return you to the list of ringtones on your phone.
        8. To delete a tone select the tone that you wish to delete.
        9. Press select/ok and choose ‘Delete’ from the ‘Set as default/Delete/Play pop up menu.
        10. On the confirmation screen, please verify that you are deleting the correct tone and
press the
           ok button.

Get Promo
From time to time Verizon Wireless will distribute promo codes that will allow you to get free,
discounted or unique content. When available Promo Codes will be highlighted on the VZW
Tones Deluxe web site or distributed to you via Verizon Wireless direct mail.
        1. To redeem a promotional code select the Manage tab on the top of the screen using
        the 5-way
           nav key and press ok/select.
        2. Select Manage Ringtones from the menu.
        3. Select Get Promo from the manage ringtones menu and press the select/ok key.
        4. Enter the promo code in the highlighted text box.
        5. Press the left “Get It” soft key and you will be taken to the Preview page for the
        associated
           ringtone. Now you can preview it and/or initiate the download.
        6. If you want it, press the right “Get It Now” soft key and the Preview/Purchase pop up
        menu will
          be presented. Use the nav key to highlight Purchase and press select/ok. Then follow
          the standard Purchase/Download process

Purchase Value Paks
Value Paks are volume based discount credits that you can pre-purchase at anytime and redeem
for ringtone content at a later date. To purchase a Value Pak highlight the Manage tab at the top
of the screen using the 5-way nav key and press the select/ok key on your phone to display the
Manage menu.
         1. Select Manage Ringtones from the menu.
         2. Use the 5-way nav key to highlight the Purchase Value Pak menu item and press the
         select/ok
            key to enter.
         3. Use the 5-way nav key to highlight the Value Pak option you want.
         4. Press the select/ok key to purchase you selected Value Pak or press the right soft key
         labeled
            “Purchase”

Value Pak Check
To determine how many Value Pak credits you have left, select the Manage tab on the top of the
screen using the 5-way nav key and press the select/ok button. Navigate down through the
Manage sub menus and highlight Value Pak Check menu and press the ok/select button. This will
display the number of remaining credits of your current Value Paks.




Ringback Tone Management

Manage Menu
VZW Tones Deluxe allows you to manage some features on your Ringback tone account. To
access the manage menu, use the 5 way nav key to highlight the Manage tab on the toolbar at
the top of the display. Press select/ok. Highlight and select the Manage Ringbacks option and
the sub menus will be presented. To manage additional ringback tone account settings please
use the tools provided on the VZW ringback tone website (www.vzw.com/rbt).

My Ringback Tones
Using the My Ringback Tone feature you can review the ringback tones you have already
purchased.
Highlight the Manage tab with the 5-way nav key and press the select/ok button to access the
Manage menu. Icons on the right portion of the menu identify special properties of certain
ringback tone in your account.
        1. Select the Manage Ringback Tones menu and press select/ok.
        2. Select the My Ringbacks option from the menu and press select/ok.
        3. Select the ringback tone you would like to review.
        4. From the ‘Set as default/Play pop up select play to hear your tone.
        5. The ringback tone will play automatically.
        6. Playback controls are selected using the 5-way nav key to select the option you would
        like.
           Toggle left and right using the nav key and press select/ok on the highlighted icon to

Icons:

This check mark next to a tone indicates that this is your default ringback tone.
This icon indicates that you have chosen this jukebox as your default ringback tone.
This icon indicates that this item is a jukebox.
This icon indicates that your ringback tone is about to expire. You will have the option to renew
your ringback tone.
My Settings
Using the My Settings menu you can view and modify your default ringback tone or juke box. You
can also view and modify your caller ID’s.

View or Modify Caller Id’s
Caller Id’s are specific numbers to which you have associated a ringback tone or jukebox.
         1. Select the My Settings menu and press ok/select
         2. Select the My Caller IDs item from the menu and press ok/select
         3. To add a new caller id select “Add” using the right soft key
         4. Enter the name and number in the text boxes, using the 5-way nav key to switch fields
         5. Select the ringback tone or jukebox you want this caller id to hear when they call you.
         6. Select “Add” using the right soft key to confirm your new caller id.
         7. To view or modify an existing caller id select the caller id to view and press the
ok/select key
         8. From the popup select either View/Modify or Delete.
         9. From View/Modify, review the information or modify as needed.
         10. Press the right soft key to confirm your changes
         11. If you wish to go back a screen at any time, press the left soft key.




My Jukeboxes
From the My Jukeboxes menu you will be able to view your existing jukeboxes and set them as
your default
ringback tone. Note: Please visit www.vzw.com/rbt to create a Jukebox.
        1. Select My Jukeboxes from the Manage menu and press ok/select.
        2. Select the Jukebox you would like to manage and press ok/select.
        3. To view the contents of your juke box select the juke box you would like to review and
        press the
           ok/select key
        4. From the pop up choose ‘View’ to see the list of ringback tones in your jukebox.
        5. To listen to a ringback tone in the menu select the tone and press the ok/select button.
        6. Press ok/select again to play the ringback tone.

VZW Tones Upgrades
Verizon Wireless is always working to provide you with state of the art applications. From time to
time new versions of VZW Tones Deluxe will be developed to bring you new features and content
types. If a VZW Tones Deluxe upgrade is available, the application will provide notice of its
availability and take you through an easy to follow upgrade process. These upgrades are free and
enhance the VZW Tones Deluxe experience.
Help
The help option is always available no matter where you are in the application.
         1. Highlight the Manage tab at the top of the screen using the 5-way nav key and press
         the
            select/ok button on your phone to display the Manage menu.
         2. From the Manage tab select Help to display the Help menu.
         3. From the Help menu select the topic that you want to find out more information about.
Tips and Tricks
       1. The numbers on the menu correspond to the number on your phones keypad. Use
       these keys to
          quickly select the option that you are looking for.
       2. Check back often for new featured artists and categories. We are continually adding to
       our great
          collection of songs.
       3. Navigate to the toolbar tabs to gain access Manage, Search, or Home from anywhere
       in the
          application.
       4. While scrolling over songs, the yellow readout bar in the middle of the screen will let
       you know
          if the song is available as a ringtone, ringback tone or both.

Q- How do I get the VZW Tones Deluxe 3.0 application?
To get started, download VZW Tones Deluxe from Get Tunes & Tones/Get Provider/New
Provider/True
Tones. If your phone doesn’t have a Get Tunes and Tones menu, navigate to the shopping cart
and then access the True Tones section of Get Tones in the GET IT NOW catalogue. The VZW
Tones Deluxe application is free to download.

Q - I already have VZW Tones Deluxe on my device. How do I get the new VZW Tones
Deluxe 3.0 version?
On most devices, when VZW Tones Deluxe 3.0 is made available, users will be prompted to
Upgrade at no charge to the VZW Tones Deluxe 3.0 version. For those devices that are not able
to upgrade via this method, users will have to enter the True Tone category and select VZW
Tones Deluxe 3.0. The application will be available for download with a Free – Unlimited price
plan. Download the application and accept the Terms and Conditions that are presented. To
continue use of the application after the initial download the Terms and Conditions must be
accepted. Note: The free price plan allows you to download the application, browse available
content and preview ring tones and ringback tones at no charge. To purchase ring tones and
ringback tones for use on your device you must pay the designated price that is presented at the
time of purchase.

Q- What phones currently support VZW Tones Deluxe?
New devices are being added all the time. Visit http://www.verizonwireless.com/vzwtones to see
the newest list of supported handsets.

Q- How do I preview, purchase and download a ringtone for use on my device?
Downloading a ringtone is easy. Use the 5 way nav key to move through menus and select a
ringtone.
Press the select/ok key and a purchase screen will appear. If the song is available as both a
ringtone and ringback tone, you will be able to select both, or one of the two. Note: If you would
like to preview the song, you must highlight the ringtone or ringback tone as they may vary
slightly. When you select Preview, a portion of the ringtone or ringback will be downloaded to
your device and begin playing automatically. You can choose to replay it if you wish. Press the
left Purchase soft key if you then want to buy the tone. If you choose Purchase rather than
Preview, the Purchase Details page will be presented that displays the
ringtone’s title and price (If you use the Purchase soft key on the Preview page you will also be
taken to the Purchase Details page). In the event that you previously purchased a Value Pak and
still have some credits you will be given an option to purchase using a credit in addition to buying
for the designated price. Value Pak credits can only be used for purchasing ringtones. Next
choose the desired purchase option and use the right Purchase soft key to download the tone. A
confirmation will be provided after the download is complete.

Q - How do I delete VZW Tones ringtones or other application downloads from my phone?
You may need to delete ringtones to make room for more downloads. Navigate to the Manage
tab on the tool bar and press the select/ok key. Highlight Manage Ringtones and press select/ok.
Find the tone you want to delete and press select/ok and a pop up menu will offer options to Set
as Default, Delete or Play.
Choose the Delete option and press the left Yes soft key to delete the file. If you need to create
memory to download additional tones, the application will tell you.

Q - If I delete a ringtone, can I re-download it?
Yes. However, once you delete a ringtone you will have to pay the full purchase price or use
another Value
Pack credit to download again.

Q – How much does the VZW Tones Deluxe App cost and how much do I pay for ringtones
and other content?
VZW Tones Deluxe can be downloaded from the True Tones section of Get Tones in the Get It
Now catalog at no charge. Once you have selected the application in the True Tones category it
will be presented with a
Free – Unlimited price plan. This allows you to download the application, browse content and
preview ring tones for free. To download ring tones for use on your device, or other content that
may be available from
VZW Tones Deluxe at a later date, you must pay the designated price that is presented at the
time of download or use a Value Pak Credit. The option to purchase with a Value Pak credit will
only be presented
if you have credits (See Value Paks below).

Q – What are Value Paks?
Value Paks are volume based discount credits that you can pre-purchase at anytime and redeem
for ringtones or other content at a later date. Value Paks are purchased from the Manage menu.
Access the Manage tab on the toolbar to read more about Value Paks. Currently Value Pak
credits can only be used for ringtones

Q – What’s a promo code?
A promo code is a numerical code used to quickly find promotional content. Promo codes will be
distributed on the VZW Tones Deluxe web site or sent to you via Verizon Wireless direct mail
campaigns. To use a
Promo Code, navigate to the “Manage” section of VZW Tones Deluxe and select Get Promo.
Then enter the code in the text box and press the left Get It soft key. Next you’ll be taken to the
Preview & Purchase page to retrieve it.

Q – Where will I see charges for VZW Tones Deluxe content that I have purchased?
The charge for retail price purchases and Value Paks will be summarized on your monthly bill in
the Get It
Now Downloads section. If you receive itemized billing the charge will be listed as VZW Tones
with the name of the ringtone and the charge. When ringtones have been purchased using a
credit, a charge of
$0.00 will be added on itemized bills along with details about the ringtone.

Ringback Tone FAQ’s
Q – What are Ringback Tones?
Ringback Tones are a new personalization service, which replaces the standard ringtone for your
friends and family to enjoy. Choose a song for your callers to hear before you pick up a call. Use
the language of music to express yourself before you answer a call and say a word.

Q – What is the difference between a Ringtone and a Ringback Tone?
Ringtones are downloaded to a user's phone. With Ringtones, the customer hears a chosen song
instead of a standard ring through the handset when receiving calls. With Ringback Tones, the
customer chooses a song for the caller to hear instead of a standard ring, before the customer
answers the phone.

Q – How do I purchase a Ringback Tone?
Ringback Tones may be purchased through the Internet, over the phone by downloading the
VZW Tones
Deluxe application through Get It Now (check device capability), dialing #728 and through text
messages to the Ringback Tone short code (728); use "RBT", "LIST", or the 3-digit song code in
the message.

Q – How do I set a Ringback Tone for a friend?
Go to the "My Settings" tab on the Ringback Tones website, and assign any of your purchased
Ringback Tones to your callers - up to 25 Caller ID assignments. Caller IDs can also be set on
the VZW Tones Deluxe application through Get It Now by selecting the Manage tab on the tool
bar and then Manage Ringbacks. Finally, select My Settings and My Caller IDs options.

Q – Can I use the normal ringing tone during work hours, but use a fun Ringback Tone
after-hours?
Yes, the Time Of Day functionality can be used to specify a unique Ringback Tone to be played
during a specific time period. The default Ringback Tone will be played during all other times. You
can also choose a fun Ringback Tone as your default Ringback Tone. Note: Time of day
functionality can only be set via the VZW Ringback Tones website at www.vzw.com/rbt.

Q – How do I pay for a Ringback Tone?
The Ringback Tone will appear on your Verizon Wireless bill once you have signed up for the
service and also when you have purchased a Ringback Tone.

Q – Can I get a text message whenever new Ringback Tones are released?
Yes, you can set up alerts through the website to be notified whenever your favorite artist
releases a new
Ringback Tone.

Q – How much do Ringback Tones cost?
The service subscription is $0.99 per month and one Default classical Ringback Tone is included
with your subscription. Each additional Ringback Tone can be purchased for a one-time fee of
$1.99 and is available for up to a year.

Q – How many Ringback Tones can I purchase?
You can purchase up to 100 Ringback Tones per account. If you have 100 Ringback Tones, you
must first delete an existing Ringback Tone before you can purchase another one.

Q – What is a Jukebox?
Jukebox is a Ringback Tones feature that allows callers to hear different Ringback Tones played
at random each time they call. There is no additional charge for use of the Jukebox. You can
create up to 5 Jukeboxes per mobile phone number. You can only create a Jukebox via the
website at www.vzw.com/rbt. To create a
Jukebox, access My Ringback Tones tab and assign up to 15 Ringback Tones to each Jukebox.
You can then access the My Settings tab on the website or your phone to assign the Jukebox as
your Default Ringback Tone or as a Caller ID. The Group IDs, Time of Day, and Day of the Week
settings are only available on the website.

Q – Can I designate unique Ringback Tones for specific callers?
Yes, you can go to My Settings and specify a unique Ringback Tone for specific individuals.

Q – Can I designate unique Ringback Tones for a group of callers?
Yes, go to My Settings and specify a unique Ringback Tone for specific groups. Groups can be
created by assigning individuals to specific Groups of your choice. For example, you can select a
group called "work" which contains phone numbers of all your co-workers. You can assign a
specific Ringback Tone to that group. So, every time someone from that group calls you, they will
hear the designated Ringback Tone for the "work" group.

Q – Can I designate specific Ringback Tones for a given Day of The Week?
Yes, go to the VZW Ringback Tones website at www.vzw.com/rbt. Specify the Day of the Week
and assign a corresponding Ringback Tone or Jukebox. Callers that call you on the specified day
will hear the designated Ringback Tone or Jukebox.

Q – Can I specify that unique callers receive the default Ringback Tone?
Yes, go to "My Settings" and specify "Verizon Wireless default Ringback Tone" as the unique
sound for specific individuals.

Q – What is the priority order for the following profile settings: Caller ID, Group ID, Time of
Day, Day of Week and Default Ringback Tone?
The "My Settings" options are listed in the order of priority. Caller ID is the highest priority and the
Default Ringback Tone is the lowest priority. If the calling party does not appear in the Caller ID,
the Group ID will be used. If the calling party does not appear in the Caller ID or Group ID, the
Time of Day will be used, and so on. If the Time of Day and the Day of Week do not apply and
the calling party does not match the Caller ID or Group ID, the default Ringback Tone will be
played.

Q – How do I manage my Ringback Tones?
You can manage your Ringback Tones by accessing My Settings tab on the website. You can
also set your default Ringback Tone and designate unique Ringback Tones for specific callers on
your device by downloading the VZW Tones Deluxe application through Get It Now (check device
capability), selecting the
Manage tab on the tool bar navigate to Manage Ringbacks and selecting My Settings and My
Caller IDs options.

Q – How long can I keep a Ringback Tone?
The Ringback Tone will expire in 12 months.

Q – How often can I change my Ringback Tone?
You can change your Ringback Tones as often as you like. New Ringback Tones can be
purchased at any time through the internet, over the phone by downloading the VZW Tones
Deluxe application through Get It Now (check device capability), by dialing #728 or via TXT
message short codes (728).

Q – Is there a limit to how many people can hear my Ringback Tone?
Ringback Tones can be set to all callers so that all callers will hear a specific Ringback Tone.
However, assignments are limited to 75 Caller ID assignments -25 to individuals and 5 groups of
10 IDs.

Q – How can I preview and purchase a Ringback Tone from my phone?
You can preview and purchase Ringback Tones from your phone by downloading the VZW
Tones Deluxe application through Get It Now (check device capability) or by dialing #728.

Q – How can I be alerted when new Ringback Tones are available from my favorite artists?
Access "My Alerts" tab on the website. To receive TXT alerts, select a list of artists to be alerted
when their songs become available.

Q – Why do some of my Ringback tones appear in red in "My Ringback Tones”?
Ringback Tones will begin to appear in red under "My Ringback Tones" 14 days prior to that
Ringback Tone's expiration date. The exact expiration date will also be displayed.

Q – How can I extend my Ringback Tone that is about to expire?
Go to "My Ringback Tones" tab on the website. Click on the red artist, title or expire date to
extend the expiration date. It can only be extended within 14 days of expiration. Once the
Ringback Tone has expired,
12 5/2/2006 the Ringback Tone will be replaced with the default classical Ringback Tone. The
expired Ringback Tone can be repurchased at any time.

Q – What is a Caller Greeting?
The Caller Greeting is a short message callers hear before the Ringback Tone is played. As part
of your subscription to Ringback Tones, callers will hear the Caller Greeting prior to the Ringback
Tone being played. The Caller Greeting will help introduce Ringback Tones to your callers. You
can add or delete the
Caller Greeting at any time during your subscription by accessing "My Settings” from the ringback
tones website.

Q – What are Ringback Tones recalls?
On rare occasions, Verizon Wireless will need to remove and recall content that has been
previously purchased and distributed for use by subscribers. When a Ringback Tone is recalled,
that tone will be removed from your account and replaced with the standard ringtone. You can
change the standard ringtone and manage your tones through your account by accessing "My
Settings." Additionally, a $1.99 credit will be applied to your account for each recalled Ringback
Tone previously purchased.

Q – How can I remove the Ringback Tones feature?
Ringback Tones can be deleted by contacting Customer Care. Please dial *611 from your mobile
phone or
1-800-922-0204 from a landline. Ringback Tones can also be deleted at a Verizon Wireless
Retail Store.
