This project “A.I.R. Feedback System and Who‟s Who Management System” mainly
aimes at creating a user interactive system through which the information input by any
user could be put automatically into the created database through the use of PHP and
The methodology used to create such a system is to use PHP which requires Apache web
server and thus the dynamic web pages created using PHP are made user interactive. The
values can be accessed from these web pages and stored automatically in the linked
database created by usind MySQL.
The outcome of this project is that the values filled in by the user in the form are accessed
using PHP super globals. Thus the system can take user‟s feedback and store their
information in the database in the form of records. Also the Who‟s Who Management
System enables the creation, deletion and updation of the record through easy services
provided at the user end.

About Project

the Tests and assignments of an institute in a centralized manner such that it is accessible
for updating and accessing any time any where. The website for this system has been
designed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL for the database end.


XAMPP is a free and open source web server package. It mainly consists of the Apache
HTTP Server, MySQL database and interpreters for scripts written in PHP.
XAMPP can be downloaded and installed for creating a localhost server on ones
computer which interprets scripts written in PHP. It also has a very useful application
called PHP MyAdmin which allows management of MySQL databases.

About PHP
PHP is a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages.

It can be embedded into HTML and generally runs on a web server, which needs to be
configured to process PHP code and create web page content from it. It can be deployed
on most web servers and on almost every operating system and platform free of charge.

PHP scripts will be compiled at runtime by the PHP engine, which increases their
execution speed. PHP scripts are able to be compiled before runtime using PHP
compilers as with other programming languages such as C (the language PHP and its
extensions are written in).

This section mainly comprises of the hardware and software requirements for the
successful completion of the project. The following are the required hardware and

 This phase is carried out to assess whether software project is technically and
economically viable. It involves following steps :-

           Problem is defined

           Determination of technical and economical viability

           Study of alternative solutions to attempt the problem, a cost/benefit analysis
            is done

           A layout or plan is prepared to get the project executed, scope of all phases is

    Following feasible factors are studied during feasibility study :-

           Technical Feasibility – Its purpose is to gain an understanding of the
            organizational ability to construct the proposed system. It is a measure of
            specific technical solution and availability of technical resources and

           Operational Feasibility – It is the measure of how well the solution will work
            in the organization. It is also a measure of how people feel about the system
            or project. It is the willingness and ability of the management, employees,
            customers, suppliers and others to operate, use and support a proposed

            desired objectives.

           Scheduled Feasibility – It is the measure of how responsible the project
            timetable is.
                            3. SYSTEM DESIGN

This section of the project involves the division of project in some modules or parts
thus making the presentation of the project clear and easily understandable. We have
discussed below various modules and part of project they contain.
