• A can of Coke contains 355 mL. How
  many liters does that equal?

• An apple weighs 0.1 kg. What does it
  weigh in grams or milligrams?



• A Tylenol or aspirin tablet weighs 250 mg.
  How many grams or kilograms is that?
 Summary – Metric Equivalents
To convert from:
• Larger metric units to smaller metric units
  (kg g  mg), you multiple by 10 for each
  move to the right.

  – Shortcut - move the decimal point 1 space to
    the right () for each space you count from
    the “FROM” unit to the “TO” unit.

  move to the left.
