					                             Preschool Curriculum

      This year will be an exciting year for all of us. We will be enjoying a variety of
new, interesting and exciting learning experiences together. Each child will learn and
grow at their own pace in the areas of spiritual, social, emotional, academic, and physical
development. Some of the topics that will be covered over the course of the year will be:

       * Developing a love of learning– reading, writing, math, science,
                                       social studies, language and religion

       * Discovering at the Science Table

       * Problem-Solving at the Math Table and Block Corner

       * Improving our fine motor skills using sensory items, woodworking
         items and writing materials

       * Expanding our attention span and fine tuning our listening skills at
         Group Time and the Listening Center

       * Using our manners at mealtime and playtime...(all the time)

       * Role playing in the Dramatic Play area

       * Cooking, Cooperation, Sportsmanship, Respect, Multiculturalism,
         The Fine Arts and Health and Safety

       * Most importantly, developing a loving relationship and friendship
                   with God, and the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
