     Fletcher Summer Institute

Every summer The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, in
coordination with the International Center on Nonviolent
Conflict brings together 45 mid-career executives for The
Fletcher Summer Institute for the Advanced Study on
Nonviolent Conflict, an intensive week-long course on the
theory and practice of civil resistance.

 • Introduced in late 2008, Fletcher’s latest advertising campaign uses creative
 messaging to highlight unique community, brand strengths and success stories
 • Campaign will have design update in late 2010, with additional messaging
 • Online, print, local and merchandise advertising
Managing Media: Social Networks and Public Relations

 • Coverage in international media outlets has increased 60% since 2007; First-tier
 outlets include Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, Boston Globe, NPR, BBC, US News
 & World Report, The Economist
 • Frequent social media participation has allowed for redistribution of news
 coverage, announcements and point-of-pride mentions; more than 2,500 followers
