              Open to riders 9 years old and under. Pony to be shown on the lead rein which must
              be attached to the noseband only. To be shown in a snaffle. Riders in this class not allowed to enter class 2.

              To be judged on the child’s ability to show a pony in hand: turnout, presentation and showmanship. The

CLASS 30       JUNIOR (16 years and under) WOBBLY RIDERS.
               Competitors that enter this class may not enter any other show jumping class
               Combination of pony/horse & rider not to have won two 1sts in any S.J. class. On or off the lead rein please state
               on entry form as class may be split if entries allow. Jumps will not exceed 1’6” in first round

CLASS 31       JUNIOR (16 years and under) NOVICE.
               Combination of pony/horse & rider not to have won two 1sts in any S.J. Class.
               Jumps will not exceed 1’9”" in first round

CLASS 32       JUNIOR (16 years and under) INTERMEDIATE.
               Combination of pony/horse & rider not to have won two 1sts in any S.J. Class.

CLASS 34       SENIOR (17 years and over) NOVICE.

                                                         RING 6

CLEAR ROUND

Commencing at 9 am

               CLEAR ROUND will be available throughout the day at various heights. Entries will be taken on the field at £2
               per round. Rosettes will be awarded to all clear rounds.
                                             RULES and REGULATIONS


1. Show jumping will be run under current BSJA rules.
2. Numbers may be restricted in all classes at the discretion of the organisers.
   All showing classes may be split or amalgamated if necessary.

3. Hard hats of the current British Standard (PAS015/EN1384) must be worn at all times while mounted. Failure to comply will
   result in a fine of £10.

4. Points will be awarded to Strathendrick Riding Club members according to places achieved. The competitor’s top three
   placings will count towards the Strathendrick Rose Bowl, which will be awarded at the Club’s AGM to the highest scoring
   horse/rider combination

5. All trophies are perpetual and remain the property of Strathendrick Riding Club.

6. Trophy winners are responsible for the safe return of the trophy in time for the following year’s show.

7. Strathendrick Riding Club and any person helping the Riding Club will not be liable for any loss or damage to any person,
   animal or vehicle.

8. Everything reasonably practicable is done to ensure the health, safety and welfare of those attending the event.

9. Members of the public and competitors are equally responsible for ensuring that they do not put themselves and/or other
   persons at risk, and that they co-operate with the organisers in complying with health and safety measures.

10. Any complaint should be made in writing and accompanied by a fee of £20 to the Show Secretary. The fee will be returned if
    the complaint is upheld.

11. It is the responsibility of the competitors to present themselves at the rings at the correct time. It is inevitable that some clashes
    will occur and competitors must be prepared to make a choice between classes if necessary.

12. All dogs must be kept on leads.

13. Foul language and/or abuse of horses will not be tolerated and will result in immediate elimination.

14. No refunds will be given after Monday 3rd September, 2007.

15. Horses must be ridden at walk outside designated practice areas.

16. Age of rider as on day of show.

17. All Horses and or Ponies in ridden classes MUST be 4 years old and over on the day of the show.

18. Under 18s should have an adult responsible for them on the show field at all times.




Classes marked as FESTIVAL OF CHAMPIONS QUALIFIER are qualifiers for the Festival
of Champions Scotland 2007, which will be held at Ingliston Equestrian Centre from 16th -
21st October 2007. Those placed 1st - 6th in the marked classes will receive qualifying cards
and will qualify for their respective class at the Festival of Champions Scotland 2007. For
