                                              Adjust	"Out"	to	Loosen	Bearings
                                          Set	Screw	Locks	Spacer	Adjustment
                                           Once	Set,	no	need	to	re-adjust	until
                                                  bearings	or	hub	is	replaced.

1.	     Remove	hub	and	bearings.
2.	     Set	bearing	spacer	starting	length.	(use	dial	caliper	for	measurement)
                   Hub Brand/Style                                    Starting Length
                   Wilwood                                            3.575”
                   Speedway	Engineering                               3.620”
                   Sierra                                             3.550”
                   Winter’s
3.	     Install	inner	hub	bearing,	hub,	spacer,	outer	bearing	and	spindle	nut.
	       (Hub	bearings	should	be	dry,	with	no	seal	in	hub.)
4.	     Tighten	spindle	nut	completely.		Hub	should	turn	freely	with	no	play.
5.	     If	hub	does	not	turn	freely	as	desired,	remove	bearing	spacer	and	adjust	the	bearing	spacer		
	       out	(lengthen)	.001”-.002”.		If	hub	has	play,	remove	bearing	spacer	and	adjust	in	(shorten)		
	       .001”-.002”.		Continue	adjustment	until	hub	reaches	desired	setting.
6.	     Once	fully	adjusted,	lock	spacer	ring	with	set	screw.
7.	     Pack	bearings,	install	seal	and	reassemble.		Tighten	spindle	nut	completely.

*If installing spacer in new hubs, check bearing pre-load after first run session.
**Spacer	should	not	need	further	adjustment.		If	changing	hubs	or	bearings,	repeat	installation	proce-
dure.
