                                State Farm Agent Donates to Carleton Place Hospital




           Hailey Lumsden, State Farm Customer Service Representative, and Jeff Julian, State Farm Agent with a
                                      donation cheque for the CPDMH Foundation

       The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital (CPDMH) Foundation is pleased to announce that State Farm
       Agent, Jeff Julian, has donated $150.00 to the ongoing equipment needs of the hospital. The funds donated are
       the proceeds of a the grand opening barbeque held at Mr. Julian’s State Farm office in Carleton Place on May 31
       of this year.

       “State Farm’s priority is to be like a good neighbour and the company helps improve the quality of life in the
       communities where its associates live and work”, stated Jeff Julian. “I am very happy to support the hospital
       because it is one of the cornerstones of our community and like State Farm, I believe it’s important to give back
       to the community that supports our business”.

       “On behalf of the Foundation I would like to thank Mr. Julian for his donation to our organization”, said Sylvie
       Powell, President of the CPDMH Foundation. “The continued support of our neighbours such as Mr. Julian will
       ensure that the hospital is equipped to meet the health care needs of the community for years to come.”

       Mr. Julian has been in the insurance business for approximately 20 years and his new office is located at 376
       Flora Street. He is very pleased to be associated with State Farm because of the company’s focus on customer

       service and its philosophy that states insurance coverage should be obtained at a fair price coupled with a fair
       claim settlement.

       continued Mr. Julian. “This recent donation to the hospital is our first step is proving that we will be a good
       neighbour and involved in the community whenever we can.”
