         Registration and Tuition Policies:

         Registration is compulsory except for SPAN corporate donors families (> 50,000 Naira).

         TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR THE SCHOOL TERM (Jan – Sept 2009)

         Full year payment (JAN-DEC) in advance with 20% discount.

         Three Semester payments with the first being due at registration, and the second due on the first class day of April.

         Monthly tuition payment after attending a maximum of three classes. A 1000 N Late Fee will be assessed if tuition balance is not
         paid after three classes.

         There will be a charge of 250 naira for insufficient funds.

         Classes missed are not pro-rated or refunded. Classes should be made up within 30 days in an available class as determined by
         the studio office. Please contact the studio office to schedule a make-up class.

         Students will be placed in a class level as determined by Studio of Dance staff. New students may be asked to take a placement
         class to determine appropriate level. Excessive absences from weekly classes may require a student to be moved to a lower
         level class.

         If a student wishes to discontinue classes, written notice must be given to the studio office, 15 days in advance from next
         registration. Failure to submit 15-day written notice will result in forfeiture of the paid tuition.

         ALL STUDENTS

         Taking a jazz class must also take at least one ballet class a week.

         Taking a pointe class must take 2 technique classes a week in addition to Pointe class (>12 years old only plus audition).

         CHILDREN CLASS ATTIRE

         Ballet class: Girls should wear a leotard (any style without an attached skirt), tights, and pink ballet shoes.

         Boys should wear black tights or shorts, white tee shirts, and white ballet shoes.

         Jazz class: Students should wear appropriate dance attire – leotard, tights or jazz pants, and tan jazz shoes. No large shirts

         or street clothes will be allowed in class.

         Creative Dance (preschool classes) need pink ballet shoes.

         Hair must be neatly arranged off the neck, away from the face, and securely pinned up. (Preschool thru Professional Levels)

         No jewelry should be worn with class attire.



         ARRIVING AND DEPARTING

         STUDENTS MUST WEAR STREET SHOES AND COVER-UPS TO AND FROM THE STUDIO.

         Please be prompt in picking up your children. Tell your child to remain in the garden. We are not responsible for children once
         they leave the studio.

         Parents are welcome to remain in the garden during classes. Although we understand the need to bring younger siblings to the
         studio, please supervise them so that the classes are not interrupted. In addition, children should not be left unattended in the
         courtyard area outside the studio. Children that are running, playing ball, or being unusually loud will be asked to sit quietly. The
         garden is large enough!

         ATTENDANCE

         Attendance is taken at every class. If your child will not be able to attend his or her scheduled class, please contact the studio
         office in advance. If your child misses 2 consecutive classes and the office has not been contacted, the office administrator will
         follow-up with a phone call.

         Missed classes must be made up within 30 days. The studio office can help you select the appropriate class for make-ups.
         Please sign-in with the teacher before attending your make-up class.

         Excessive absences from weekly classes may require a student to be moved to a lower level class.

         STUDIO POLICIES :

             1.   SPAN reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient attendance.
             2.   SPAN is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal property.
             3.   Replacement “fee” for lost, stolen, or misplaced coupons is one class per week from the date of purchase.
             4.   There will be a 2500 Naira fee charged for returned checks.
             5.   SPAN reserves the right to engage substitutes for classes when the regular teacher is absent. No credits or refunds will
                  be issued in this case.
             6.   Street shoes are not permitted in the studio at any time. Please see our dance shoe guidelines above for instruction on
                  proper footwear.
             7.   SPAN reserves the right to bar any student from entering class or to remove any student from class due to disorderly
                  conduct/disruptive behavior or for any other reason determined by management as unsuitable behavior.
             8.   SPAN and its instructors are not liable for any injuries sustained while in class, or on the
                   premises. Please notify instructor(s) if you have any concerns about physical problems or
                   injuries. Always work at your own pace.
             9.   SPAN classes are subject to cancellation or change of time or location based on
                   management discretion.
            10.   Students must be at least 18 years of age, or have studio manager's approval, to attend adult SPAN classes.
            11.   Filming and/or photography of any sort is not permitted at any time in any dance class or If this is your first time with us,
                  please know that dance is a wonderful form of expression and exercise, and we want to make sure your experience with
                  us is a good one.
            12.   For your safety and to respect your fellow classmates, we will not allow anyone into class 20 minutes after a 1 –
                  1.25-hour class has started, and 30 minutes after 1.50 - 2 hour class has started. The first 10 - 15 minutes of class is
                  important because it provides the warm-up that prepares your body for the physical activity ahead. Know that if you do
                  arrive after the deadline, you will not be allowed to take class.
            13.   Please note you will be asked to sign-in with the assistant. Please have your ticket ready or any other form of payment.
                  We want to get you into class as quickly as possible.
            14.   For your safety we ask that you do not chew gum in class.
            15.   Always pull long hair back into a ponytail or bun. This is not only for your comfort but also will allow the instructor to see
                  more effectively any alignment problems you may have, enabling more constructive corrections.
            16.   Please keep all jewelry to a minimum. Long earrings and dangling bracelets can easily get caught. For your safety, we
                  ask that you remove all jewelry and bring your valuables with you into the studio.
            17.   Dance provides many components of a well-rounded fitness program. It also combines utilization of the body, mind, and
                  most essentially, the spirit. So relax, enjoy and open yourself up to a wonderful experience. Remember: Dance is for
                  everyone and there is nothing you can’t do!
                  Please bring with you to the studio the shoes you plan to dance in and change into them after you arrive. Make sure the
                  soles of your dance shoes are clean before entering the studio. NO SHOES WORN IN FROM THE STREET WILL BE
                  ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO. Please note the following guidelines for footwear in class:

         policies are subject to changes and/or additions at any time. Placement is at teacher’s discretion and not necessarily based on
         years of experience. Teacher conferences are available by appointment.

         Adult Classes
         Adult classes are offered to those 16 years of age and up. Please call for current fees and schedules:
         017767726/07028019499. When registering for adult classes, all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Make-up
         classes may be taken for missed classes ONLY within the session that the class was missed. You may also e-mail

         PERFORMANCES & COSTUME FEES
         SPAN has staged several performances for individuals and corporate bodies in the past. There is a strict process for setting
         about this and all performances must follow them. For senior performances, kindly contact 017767726 to assign an authorised
         staff to properly plan and execute said performances with you.

         For schools, the Easter performance costume is part of registration, but there will be a performance for all children’s classes
         (except creative movement), tentatively scheduled for Dec 13th 2008. Ticket prices, and all other related details are to be
         announced. A costume fee for the Christmas show is 35 dollars per student will be billed to you with Sept registration. All
         costume fees must be paid by 20/09/2008. If we do not receive your costume fees by 20/09/2008, your costume/costumes will
         not be ordered and your child/children will not be able to participate in the end of year show. All costume fees are
         non-refundable and non-transferable.

         DRESS CODE FOR ALL DANCE STYLES (ADULTS AND CHILDREN):
         SPAN strictly adheres to a dress code. Please make note of what your child needs to wear for each class and make sure your
         child comes to each class prepared. Those children who continually come to class unprepared will be asked to sit out until they
         come in proper dress code.
         Ballet & Creative Movement Classes
         All ballet classes are required to wear pink tights, a black leotard, and pink ballet shoes. Hair must be worn in a bun. No baggy
         clothing or cover-ups will be allowed once class begins! Creative movement children should wear pink tights, pink ballet shoes,
         and a leotard, skirt or tutu in any color of their choice – hair in a ponytail or bun.
         Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pop N’ Lock, & Tap Classes
         Appropriate dance clothing of any color; i.e., tights, leotards, cami’s, tanks, leggings, Jazz. Jazz classes require black jazz
         shoes, modern/lyrical classes either barefoot or modern sandals, hip hop/pop n’ lock classes require black dance sneakers; tap
         classes require flat black tap shoes
