well as placing another team on the court to prepare for the “Component Aspect of
      Coaching.”
 Your child will receive correct fundamental training with an emphasis on the technical
aspects of each individual skill. These coaches are trained and experienced to correct all
technical issues and rebuild them correctly.
 With our coaches, each team is assured a coach with an extensive physical and technical
background who is able to prepare every athlete for the next step in their volleyball
      career.
 Players are taught team offensive and defensive schemes to have them completely
      prepared for competition

2) EMPHASIS ON THE COMPLETE ATHLETE BETTER PREPARING THEM FOR
HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGIATE COMPETITION

 Focus on the discipline of Volleyball – Understanding all aspects of the sport – Beginner,
Intermediate or Elite. All athletes will receive the same caliber training and treated with
      the same respect.
 No “pre-determined” or “hand picked teams”. All players are evaluated.
 There are no cuts in our program. All players are placed! – With all experienced
      coaches.
 All players attend mandatory Pre – Season, “Speed, Agility, Strength and Conditioning
Training” by a highly qualified D1 Sports Training Staff. Thus preparing them for the
physical aspects of the game that is required for success.
 Mandatory Sports Nutritional Workshop for all players (parents are welcome to attend)
for the player to understand the nutritional demands on an athletes body as well as
      overall healthy eating.
 Coaches who use the time on the court to “Teach Life Lessons”, helping the player to
understand that their preparation and competition is bigger than the sport of volleyball
and transfers to all aspects of life.
 Coaches who are also role models – Foul language and unprofessional behavior are not
       tolerated within our staff.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE VOLLEYBALL HAS PARTNERD WITH TEAM
STING VOLLEYBALL CLUB

The Sports Performance Volleyball Club of Aurora, Illinois has entered into a partnership venture with
the Team Sting Volleyball Club of Birmingham, Alabama. Sports Performance was established in 1981 and
has won 66 age group Jr. National championships and sent over 500 graduating Seniors to play collegiate
volleyball at the Division I level. Sports Performance will be assisting in the development of a full time
volleyball training center which will include four full size volleyball courts, a pro shop, concession area,
physical training area as well as working to develop various junior, youth and adult leagues, clinics and
programs. They have also brought the #1 summer camp program in the United States to Alabama. This year
the camp was held at Homewood High School and had over 150 campers.

"We are very excited to be involved in this project with the Team Sting program," stated Sports Performance
co-club director Cheryl Butler. "We feel the potential for growth is virtually unlimited and we look forward to
assisting in the areas of facility, club and program development. We plan to have members of our staff in
Alabama in the next 30-45 days to continue working on this project."

“This is a very exciting time for volleyball in the state of Alabama! The partnership with Sports Performance
has allowed volleyball in our state to progress by leaps and bounds,” said Julie Dailey, founder and director of
Team Sting Volleyball Club. Team Sting was founded in Birmingham, Alabama in 2005 as a volleyball club
based on the principles of faith, discipline, and hard work. “We set high standards regarding our players on
and off the court and this will not change,” stated Dailey. “To continue our partnership with Sports
Performance in our 6th year of our club is a tremendous opportunity. This partnership continues to allow us to
expand our ability to reach more athletes and affect the lives of more players,” stated Dailey. In addition to
fielding girls teams aged 12U through 18U, Team Sting plans to develop a younger player’s program, adult
leagues, and a boy’s program. For more information on Team Sting go to the website at
