Timothy Dailey is a writer. In fact, he’s been writing plays and poems since
childhood. And as a Catholic, it seemed natural for him to explore both his faith
and his love for the written word at St. Edward’s. As a junior English Writing
and Rhetoric major with an emphasis in Creative Writing, Timothy is furthering
his career goal of being a professional playwright and poet.

During his time at St. Edward’s, he has participated in the Honor’s Program,

and informal, proper and friendly. It is a place where ideas are accepted and

of his formation as a writer, a Catholic and a person. “This scholarship has
helped make one of my most ambitious dreams a reality. Without it, I may not
have been able to pursue my goal of graduating from one of the best small
                     universities in the nation.”
